I also read that post on the Fleet testing and it seemed rather conclusive on at least the one or so pets they tested! So I wouldnt recommend on counting on fleet foot to spped up your Mounted pace. I am curious ,however about the other speed testing as one factor not mentioned is how LONG any one of these beasts can maintain there gallop, and how long before it's no longer "winded" ?? I remember that the dewback was slower than alot of mounts normal speed,but it's gallop was pretty fast and it could go for a longer period before it got winded as compared to the kadu. It then also took it longer to recover from being winded as well so there are a couple things to consider when choosing your mount! My 1.3 creds ...........BTW, Amethyst, keep up the good BE work, Iv'e seen some of your pets and just bouhg ta wooly from ya that had 9073 health, got him leveled up with 9 slots using the "CL1 friend of CH group" method. That sooooo rocks, till the nerf bat comes out

Running is the default if you have set it as a default in your options... If you use that setting you can "walk" by holding the shift key down...

But mount speeds are all badly bugged right now with very little variation as they are pretty slow. This is due to the pet movement bug which I believe is still on Ko-a top 5 list for the profession.

The speeds in the FAQ were measured pre-CU. I'm waiting until things get resolved, or at least stop changing, before I test everything again.

I doubt the Wasteland Cu pa was ever the fastest. All Cu pa travel at the same rate. In fact, the cu pa tests were done, primarily,with a wasteland cu pa, as well as with a cu pa for areality check.
