For me it is PvE Soloist (Dislike Grouping or People).
If you are asking what role I currently play in SWG I would have to say none of these really. I use my pets while I play PvE but other than keeping creatures off the rifleman or newbs it dosent really do much. If I go on higher level hunts I don't use them at all because they usually cause more harm than good by aggroing other creatures and costing me gobs and gobs of money on pet stims (medic's dont like to heal your pets).
I could say Tamer for Companions or Rares, but I only tame for VPO.
Some times ill put on show's and do PvP Duel Oriented, but I never use my pets in any real fight.
On occasion I use them for PvE Groups (Profit Oriented), but I find its easier just to get a big group and fight the higher level creatures for hide/bone/meat.

Same here. Though I like finding and taming also.
Too bad Talon and Pluto are on Valcyn, we could show you PvE grouping for fun and profit..

LOL. fan, I find some unique groups and I manage to make a small profit from time to time. I just seem to be able to control most situations solo. With pets running away not fixed it makes it easier because I know not to chase mobs.
talon and the gang were fun to group with though lol nothing like plowing to relieve stress some days.

I solo for profit, group for social and tame for rares.
Though as I pointed out in Pluto's other thread, I have no rares, so maybe I should reconsider that "tame for rare" thing

I have not been too shocked to see people say soloist. I bought this game with the intention of being MRM/CH even before I knew anything about it. A pet to tank and long range nuking abilities never hurts in any game. I was not looking for uberness per se, but solitude when I wanted it. Adventures that I could do alone. And when I think Star Wars, I see small groups having the side adventures. Admittedly, I do not know anything about the EU. The large scale battles are always Imp/Reb. The little side adventures in the movies are just Leia, Luke, Han, Chewie and two rather humorous droids.
I just hoped forced grouping stays at a minimum. Larger "legend" type things like Krayts should be tough. I am here to find pets, solo some missions, and GCW where it fits my more Huttian nature.
