Well this is a little off topic but think about it. Luke, Obi-wan, Vader3. now add in Yoda who if i remember correctly didnt actualy handle one and the emperor also didnt technicaly use one. Solo who should not have been able to ignite one cause the switch is hidden and can only be found by the force, but he did so there could be 6. Now if we are asking how many handled a saber we get into the imp officer who handed Luke's to vader in rotj and leia who used one to cut something open if i remember and didnt lando useone also for similar reasons. The list could go on and on.

I dont really think this would be that bad. They would just have to let it move at the altitude that the jetpack moves at. Give it really good terrain negotation obviously. As far as not being able to make flying pets, as a BE, this drives me nuts. I love birds.

In eps IV-VI, Yoda never touched a lightsaber. The Emperor DID touch one (Luke's), but did not ignite it. In fact, the only time we ever see Palpatine use a saber is in Ep III.

My point being, in the classic trilogy, three characters (four if you count Han using it as a knife) used lightsabers.

How many players use lightsabers in SWG? I might as well ask how many stars are in the sky!

The point being that there is a precedent in the movies (ep II) for a flying mount, so why can't we have a flying mount in SWG? Make it an MCH only perk, that should restrict the number of players flying around on one, and they wouldn't really be flying, they'd be hovering.

I nominate the peko peko, the giant peko peko, the whisper bird (and variants), the lantern bird (and variants), and the reptilian flyer (and variants) for mount status!
