I think I got my first "uncommon/rare" on my first night as a CH with Kleylli (and yes, I'll update the diary soon, I'm working on a story of the night for it): a forest murra. I've seen hundreds of murra, and mountain murra, but never a forest murra. Apparently they've definitely been out there, based on update times on SWG Creatures, but I think they are still very uncommon since I spent probably 45% of my game time on Corellia and didn't even know they were there.

I think they are on the common end of uncommon . . . I've never had any trouble finding them. However, as populations seem to vary by server, they could be uncommon on yours where they weren't on Scylla.

Here's a REALLy fun trick with mountain worrts though.

When its grown up (or at least pretty big) center your view so that the mountain worrt is in the middle of your screen. Tell it to do its trick (I believe it will be "trick 1"). The worrt will jump up . . . and disappear. Look up to see where it goes, and it's gone. When you look back on the ground though, it will be there.

This is a harmless graphical glitch. For some reason, the game doesn't draw the worrt again when it lands until you move your view away from its location and back again. Back before hologrinding and people knowing everything about the game, I actually used to have my worrt do this trick for tips at the starport. You know, the good old days? I'd have about fifteen people make a circle around the animal, tell them to look directly at it, and then make it jump. The"oohs" and "ahhs" always pulled a bigger crowd and I did pretty well.

Forest Murras are pretty uncommon, like dalyrake harvesters, slice hounds or forest slice hounds. I usually find them near or between the plateaus in the Riverlands region. (Iggy watches over them.)
