Thread: Why should I keep MCH?

if you are interested in combat, you need to drop CH. your skill points are better spent on CM, rifle, TK, sword, fencer, doc, etc.
If you like taming rare animals and like the intangible companionship of AI "pets", then stick with CH. but remember, nowadays, you don't stay CH for combat reasons.your handicapped in combat as a CH.
Might want to clarify there Jonnie, if you are interested in PVP combat, thne drop CH. I don't care what anyone says, with the exception of a few auto stores, I've yet to have a problem with keeping up with the TKAs and other profs in PvE. And to make it even better, I can hit a full spawn of Savage Quenkers with just me Targ (Desert Boar), Lung, (Mountain Dewback)and Starscream (Probe Droid) Unbuffed.I would be going after pickets, but I'm trying to get Dant wild meat at the moment, so haven't tried it out yet. You just can't beat the ability to lock and load and not worried about buffs dropping off in the middle of a fight. So, let the TKM and all them others lock and load after spending 12k or more for there buffs. I'll just get my pets and bot and go kicking butt with out having to worry.

CH is fine for newbie pve or grinding pve like savage quenkers. but if you want to engage in serious endgame pve or if you like pve in a group, drop CH. groups dont like or respect CH pets, they are annoying. for high end pve, CH isa waste of skill points. its more rational and efficient to spend ur skill points on other professions for higher end pve.
As some have already pointed out it really depends upon what you plan on getting out of the game. If you're looking to engage in any kind of PvP your best bet would be to drop CH and go for one of the other melee or ranged professions. If, however, you're not really into PvP and prefer doing PvE stuff then I'd say keep CH. Short of having someone buffed and armoured in your party there's nothing else that can help you tank and destroy larger mobs.
Myself, I'm keeping Master CH for the long-term. Heck, I even went so far as to getting a 2nd account so I could keep Master CH / Master Riflewoman (yes, I'm planning on keeping rifleman regardless. it suits my playstyle). I'm really hoping that the the devs will give this profession some attention if not during the combat balance then sometime shortly after. Otherwise I may decide to give up CH since it will be obvious at that point that they've no desire to make our class competitive again with other classes and would prefer to spend their attentions elsewhere.
