i agree with everything in this thread. as a MCH/MD i have seriously dropping one of them to pursue a combat class. guess which one.. this is heartbreaking since i have played since launch and CH was the first elite i went for.

as a doc i can keep me and my pets alive but it takes a long time to clear a strong lair.

um so 8 will spawn for every 10,000 um that ain't rare that is considered near extinction

I realize this is an old post, but I think some of you will find this information interesting....

I sent in a CSR ticket concerning frenzied grauls. I was asking if they really are tameable, of it was just a bug since I've seen no confirmed tames since the pet extinction nerf. The response was that it was indeed tameable, only that pets like that may only spawn a baby 0.08% of the time.

I was like... WOAH! that's damn low!

I agree with this post. A good pet should be rare, but not THAT rare. I own a few rare pets myself, and hell, I never use them. If they were easier to replace and whatnot I definitely would, but I really don't want to go back out there and search for weeks for a new merek death's head or mantigrue screecher.

8 in every 10,000? i think some people have been looking for certain babies for over 2 months (bull rancor, great plains stalker etc), things like this make people want to quit playing, how about a personal counter, for example: for every 25 arachne widows i kill my chance to get a baby spawn increases by 10%, so i do eventually get one and can go back to having some fun, this is a game after all, or what do we have here another EQ Raster camp? people that played Evequest as a monk and tried todo epic quest will know what i mean.

At the moment im up to 45 widows and 22 queens killed and no baby in sight, its not very easy for me to kill them and ive died many times while hunting them, its not a complaint, its just 1 aspect of the game that i'd like to see made more 'casual gamer' friendly.

Nothing is spawning in corellia at all so no chance at all at finding a GPS. Give them lairs at least

I got a Bull Rancor after lair 235 lairs and was part of a hunting team that found another bull baby but unfortunately it was lost. One was from a paid mission and other was from static lair.

Frenzied Graul- I have 2 prenerfs so thank God am not going through these hard to find Frenzied Static spawns. I have taken down all those that have come across my path because I did my TKM xp in dant and did find 17 lairs which sounds pretty good compared to most.

Here is what they can do, give us bigger spawns with 2 bulls 1 rancor and 1 youth per paid mission or static spawn. Give us lairs for the GPS and give missions for the Frenzieds. I am happy with all the others but the three I mentioned need some attention.

Yea i have to agree. I've spent the last week like a hermit in central corellia looking for even an adult Great Plains Stalker and haven't even seen one. I have ranger tracking 1 also so i can get direction info if one would ever show up in my scans! But seriously, i've taken back up holo grinding cuase its just not worth it to find one. Only one person on my server has tamed a GPS, and thats tivo... If CH xp wasn't so hard to get these days i'd drop with the intent of returning to it someday. But i've been a MCH since mid-september and i just don't want to go through the hassle of doing something else. And yea, unnerf the rancor or nerf the tkm. Dath has turned into a real hell hole with all the rancor missions.

i got a lvl 55 kimogila is that rare and furthermore is it worth using its dmg is 550 at 1.99 speed?

they ar good yes... but they sell for so much because they are RARE rather than good.

My solution to the problem is possibly make adults tameable... but you have like 1/500 chance of getting them and if you fail you get agroed.... sounds kind of fair.

I agree....when frenzied grauls became tameable again, I, like most other master CH's went out and looked for one.....and looked and looked and looked....and then kept looking because, after all, this wasn't a rumor, this was confirmed by devs!! ....looked and looked...still looking.

So you know what i did....i bought one!

A pre-nerf one, that the guy had had since forever and was only selling because he was dropping CH because he was sick of the profession.

I paid 1 million for it...yeah, i thought i got a good deal too.
