I beleive that terrain negotiation is considered maxed for all pet, except in the water maybe. And unfortunately, there is no way to make them gallop when you're not on them.

I have a Mature Reptillian Flyer that fights to the death, not sure what everyone else is running into.

By the way, whena pet runs, hit the follow command and have it come back and then attack again, its a nice little workaround for cowardice.

I learned it using rancors.
