And everyone else...I'm honored. I mean, I knew I inspired some people but its nice to know everyone out there arent jerks, heh. You newbies keep on learning and having fun, all the veterans keep being leaders, and in reply to Vertexon hoping I return later on...we'll see. But like I said, I will keep checking up on this forum every now and then to see if things ever get fixed, then maybe one day you'll see me back. Bye guys

Thanks for all your helpful information regarding rare pet finds (and many other things through many threads and posts), and inspiring me a little more to keep at it with the hunt. I'll keep waving the banner of "GIVE US OUR BABIES," and in my vocabulary the "futile search for a rare creature baby, refusing to give up even when all hope seems lost," will forever be known as a "Tivo."

Your contributions and comments on this forum will be missed. Hope to see you again someday, I'm still not ready to walk away myself until I have finally tasted Jedi, so I'm sure I'll still be here...

It is time.


After alot of thinking I have decided to leave Star Wars Galaxies. Some of you will be disappointed, others sad, and others probably think Im leaving cause I never got a bull rancor. But the real reason I am leaving is because I love the CH profession, its the whole reason why I played the game even though I bought it thinking I would do whatever it takes to become a jedi...ya right, lol. But after waiting and waiting months on end with things only getting worse, the time has come to an end for this rare pet collector.


Its kinda funny how many friends I made not only ingame, but on this forum. All of us doing our rare hunts, or new finds, or just venting...heh. I dont look at this as Sony winning, I look at this as them losing the pride of Lowca...and I will not be the last to leave, nor was I the first. But maybe when enough blood has been shed, they will finally come to realize that the games problems are half what they find troubleshooting but more importantly, half what we tell them. I think they forget we are the losers that play their game 24/7...AM I RIGHT!?!? YA!!! er...


Alright, thats about it. I feel like Frodo at the end of the Return of the King, heh. I have not yet decided what Im going to do with my pets or items and whatnot. My last day of gameplay is March 6th I believe, which is when I will do one final hunt with my friends...but it sure as hell will not be on Dath! lol. I'll check back on here every now and then to see if they ever get things goin in the right direction. But for now...may the force be with you, my fellow CH's. There is always hope.

Tivo,
I deeply regret seeing another strong pillar of the community leave. I know we don't know each other well but your explorations have brought hope and excitement to some of our lives. I only hope that someday I can find my Frenzied Graul, I will name him TivoTheHunter.

Haha, I remember critisizing Tivo for his "rare" hunts. I belittled the stats on the infamous Bull Baby Rancor, yet he endured, and in doing so actually peaked my interest once again in the only profession in this game that I truly liked to play. Hunting night after night and breaking the 3 digit mark on lairs myself has just about brought me to the point you're at now. Isn't that irony or something?


Heh, anyways, sad to see you go, was always entertaining to read your posts. At least you managed to breath some life into this practically dead/nerfed/bugged profession for me for a little while. Sony will continue to make cash off of new players with the huge time-sink it is now, causing them to wanna play longer and have a goal to attain. Hopefully they'll fix it to at least half of what it used to be before too many people catch on as to what it's like to be a master. Good Luck Tiv'ster!
