with the new window that pops up for training, the only part i have not figured out is how to get an ingame macro to reconizize

the arrow down key.

my last choice might be to re-map my keyboard, with my keyboard software, ( not the ingame keymap )

anyone figured out how to pass a arrowdown in a macro ??

i have gotten a macro to work but its a 3rd party macro program, im trying to keep all macro's within the game.

Because wo all know 3rd party macro programs are against TOS. right.....

This isn't necessary. To clarify: a pet that has never been named eg. "a grand wrix (baby)" will respond to any /tellpet command without the need to specift its name. Once the pet has been named, you need to format thus: /tellpet (PussyCat) knockdown or similar - the important point being to put the name in round brackets and to make sure the capitals are the same as your pet. it is not necessary to have commands longer than one character. I use a recursive macro on my SuperNuna to cycle through his special abilities using this process.

I have never needed to add the (name) to the /tellpet line. I imagine it is there for when you have multiple pets out and you want to give them different commands.

My training macros aren't, I suppose, what people would call macros. I suppose 'shortcut' is a more appropriate term.

Pull up the macro interface, pick the picture, name the macro, then in the text box...
/tellpet stay

You don't have to use a semicolon at the end of that line.

Stick that macro on the hotbar. Then when you use the interface to train the pet, you just hit that key, until it learns that command.

To the best of my knowledge, that's the only 'macros' you can use to train a pet. I don't think there is a way to hit one macro and entirely train a pet. Legally.

I wouldn't know how to make or use a third party macro, so I couldn't help ya there.

Taken from my sticky

Is it possible to completelymacro training pets?

No. Their is currently absolutely no way to use the command line to train pets without using your mouse to click the radial menu. We have been requesting this for over a year now and no news yet.
