I'm not sure Prowling Gurrecks can be considered rare........have they just had their status changed or something?
When I tamed one a couple of weeks ago I had a choice of two babies in the same pride.....I have since seen 1 more baby....although I dont go to endor much anymore.
This was on shadowfire.......I do believe the servers have different ratios or something......

Ya know...I think getting a 'rare' pet is more like LUCK.
Case#1 - Jan/Feb, I went looking for Gurreck babies - first static site I found (pretty quickly, too), 3 adults, then a baby - tamed. Second spawn site a couple days later (I was doing regular hunting with friends in between baby hunting), 4 adults, then baby - tamed. Have not looked for nor tamed any since then.
Case#2 - late May, my first forray to search for Thune Grassland Guardian - first static site found (quickly again I might add), 3 adults, then a baby - tamed.
Case #3 - May (and continuing) - Great Plains Walker - I've seen 3 static spawns, killed 3 adults at 2 of these, and 4 at the 3rd site - no babies.
Case #4 - 2 weeks ago - Wild Dune Boar - first hunting - found 2 static spawns, 3 adults each - no babies.
Case #5 - 2 weeks ago - Prowling Gurreck - first hunting (had seen them when they first came out - before creature changes, and though DAAAAAAYUM!) - came upon a static spawn WITH A BABY ALREADY OUT! There were no corpses on the ground, and nobody else in site, so it must have 'randomly' spawned a baby (and 3 adults).
So, my experience has show, magic numbers of 3-4 adults, and then perhaps a baby for these 'rare' static spawn creatures.

Hunting the Wild Dune Boar, I used the waypoints from swgcreatures.com...

I have put off hunting for a bit, trying to get back up TKA skills, but once mastered (again), I'll be back in the field...hunting...searching...taming - must catch up with Tivo (LOL).

BTW - swgcreatures.com is an AWESOME resource...you can even check maps which show reported waypoints for sightings, to get an overall view of the areas where creatures have been seen, so you can set your own search grids.
MAN, I wish this was around when I started back in July last year!

I agree with this for the most part, my alt character has been hunting a Mantigrue Screecher for weeks, 40 lairs and counting so far. Tons of adults and plenty of Plague Strike, but no babies at all. Have attacked static spawns, and missions as well.
I had done the same with Bull Rancors,30+ lairs and no babies, but twice now I have gotten tells (never when Im on Dath) fromfriends to tell me that Bull babies have shown up for them while they were grinding Jedi. In one case, a friend was guarding the baby as i tried to hop shuttle after shuttle. Unfortunately an adult spawned and aggroed the baby. I can confirm this since I saw the Bull babies corpse as I rode up on my bike..../cry

MAN, I wish this was around when I started back in July last year!
I agree with you on both the site and wishing it was like this a year ago.

Idon't know ifI have just been unlucky or what but I am having a hard time finding the Kinad Baz Nitch. Ive gone through a few wild lairs and spawns and nada.
