It's very clear you don't know what you are talking about man. The trade in system is made ONLY for pets with a max level between 11 and 15. Its purpose is to give the same pet with lower stats and a CL10 to be used by non CH players.

It, however, never worked then and still doesn't work now. Most non-CH's with the old level 11-15 non-ch pets have hung on to them since you *don't* get *your* pets back from the trade-in. If you put in a peko-peko you don't get back a level 10 peko with 800-some hit points, you end up with a rasp. Cowardly gurrecks become minor sludge panthers, etc.

I got a CSR answer: he will help to get my correct pets. I'll keep you tuned. It's a bug.

My opinion: if the pet is traded for another specie one, the minimum is an advertissement window explaining the trade and asking for acknowledgment.

That's a reasonable request.

I always thought it was strange that a cu pa turns into a kwi, or a cowardly gurreck turns into a lesser sludge panther. One of my guildies who had a cowardly gurreck was not thrilled that his pet was turned into a lesser sludge panther. Now, if it had been a GSP...I'm sure there would have been no complaints!

It's the only way to have a non CH wild kaadu for example (you trade a CL12 or 14 male/female kaafu for a CL10 one).

If you don't know what you are talking about, inform yourself then come back to us. The trade in system is not a cheat.

Sorry, they do know what they are talking about. The trade in system should have been shut down in January. It's only purpose was to correct level 11-15 pets that USED TO BE non-CH when the non-CH level was 15 but got lowered to 10.

The only way for a non-CH to have a Kaadu, for example, is to get one made by a bio-engineer.

This doesn't look like a bug to me. It is my understanding that the devs put the cupa and Bantha mounts in the game to throw CH a bone.

Throw us a bone? I would say its more like throw the BE a bone. We won't be making any profit or earning any credits off of this. UNLESS.. we buy BE pets and train them and sell them, tell me where the profit will be by doing that when nobody wants to spend money on them to begin with. All I ever hear is .. Hey, can you tame and train my mount for me.. doing so might fetch a few measly credits. Do I have people knocking down my door wanting mounts? NO.. why should they when they can ride a swoop.

They have ruined this profession.. but so typical of how the real world is when it comesto choosing between buying a brand name or a generic brand.

Well I must admit it does seem to be throwing the BE's a bone more than the CH's due to the fact there are no non-ch lvl bantha's and cu-pa's in the wild for us to catch and resell. We wound infact have to buy BE created lower lvl ones, tame them, wait for them to mature, train then try to resell at a higher price. Which is possible if we ally with a BE, but would be a nicer gift to the CH profession if we could tame low lvl wild ones ourselves.

You don't have to convince me that we have been shafted. I was an MCH before they stripped the profession of its value. It may have been a weak attempt to passify us, but it was none-the less. I realize that they must be purchased rather than tamed, but I don't think they were intended to be resold at a profit.

I understand there won't be much profit here, there really isn't much profit in any mount. But to make us turn away from our own profession, which is taming wild creatures, and leaving us to chuck that to the side and buy one from a BE to "tame" is a huge slap in the face to all CH. That's like telling us, we don't need your services. The Be's make better creatures than what can be obtained in the wild in most cases, excluding the ones they don't have schematics for. I simply feel that we are getting pushed to the side.

Dev's, don't tell us its for us, when its really not, we have already heard that junk. We have been nerfed almost to non existance. We are laughed at, ridiculed, and have pets nobody wants in thier groups. You push the grouping to the tee, but force CH to be solo players. Where is the love here.
