Ok, here's the scoop. If you are a non-wookiee you need 3-2-0-0 as a minimum to call your Graul Mauler. As a wookiee you only need 2-2-0-0 as a minimum. Some people seem to disagree on this forum but that is the honest truth. I'm a wookiee CH and I've tested this personally as post-patch I was able to call my G.Mauler at 2-2-0-0 when my friend at the same level could not...

Which skill mod should I look at to know what pets I could use? Max number of pet levels? As a Mon Calamarian 2-2-1-2 CH I see that my max number of pet levels is 35. But shouldn't that be enough to call a Graul Mauler? Or should I look at Taming xxxx creatures?

You need taming 3 to call an adult. Wookies don't have sheit over anyone else when it comes to taming wild creatures. Check out the taming wild creatures rating at taming 2, its only 30... fo shizzle.

God xith why you gotta be such an ass in every single forum I read? fact is yer wrong.... wookies get a +10 to taming wild and taming vicious, in addition to that and to answerthe last question the level of your taming wild skill is the same as the level of non aggro creatures you can tame and call.... in your case 35. The level of your taming vicious creatures skill is some sort of modification on the other skill.... I still haven't quite figured it out exactly, but at 2-2-1-4 I could tame a lvl 35 non aggro mob, I could tame a lvl 26 aggro mob, I could NOT tame a lvl 34 aggro mob. My pet list at that skill consisted of 2 lvl 26 savage quenkers in addition to several others. The reason I bring it up at all, is that when I started I assumed that aggro mobs would be 10 lvls below non aggro mobs, obviously not. Like I say though,beyond knowing that the real test is that your skills give you a percentage based chance to tame each mob, and that you must have at least a 15% chance for the option to show in the radial menu as well as in order to control any mob given to you.

I see a lot about "calling" the Graul Mauler, but what about training? I am a Human @ 3/2/1/2. Can I tame and use this beast?

When I was 2/2/1/2, I was told by a MCH that I could tame it... I went to Dathomir, spent 2+ hours searching the planet until i found a baby... and then i couldn't tame it. =( Now that I have Taming I3, I was planning to head out in search of another tonight, but i don't want a repeat of my last trip. That was maddening. =)

yes you can

although maulers are CL34, you need taming III cause of the viciousness.

And remember the common rule of thumb: you can't call what you can't tame. (at least the adult version, babies are possible)

yup, 3-2-1-2 will do the trick...... although it might take a while, and you may end up dead a few times =)...... I'm 3-2-1-4, and I get the tame button on the radial menu..... haven't been down there without a group that's just smashing everything in sight yet though, so I haven't tried it yet...... I was actually thinkin of goin after a merek assassin myself =)..... also cl 34.

sounds like a regular graul to me

and they're ham is 9300

maulers are 9700 ham

You can tame a graul at 2 2 0 0 and are also able ot call it then. when you hit 3 2 0 0 you can tame a graul mauler and call it as an adult.

What do your CH levels have to look like to Call them both out at the same time?

I currently have 3-2-1-3
