Thread: Best CH solo combo suggestions?
Hmm....I definately wouldn't tell you to go commando. I tried that. And I was only able to be a 1222 CH while I was one. Commando is one of those skillpoint-eating professions.
Rifleman/CH is, I'd say, one of the best. However, I'm going for a bit of variety and making myself into a Swordsman/CH/TK. It should be an interesting combo, as it will allow me to tank along with my pets, thereby allowing them to survive longer because I can draw the attention to myself part of the time.
Do not know if this helps but, I am a MCH been one for awhile. I am alos 0-1-4-0 (atm) pistoleer. 4-4-4-4 medic (waiting for training points to master then dropping to 4-1-0-0) rest in varoius areas.
I can solo caves on some planets. With a nice pet you can handle most anything in the wild. And as long as you are not into PVP you are set. Basically I would recomend any damage dealing second to go with MCH and a little in medic for stims. Just make sure your pet can hold agro and you will have np.
Aiseman <----- Still a Noob MCH
with a lot of effort i can solo krayts without conceal shot using a pet. so soloing just about everything less than 300k ham is doable. i wouldnt consider pistol as a hunting profession due to its almost total lack of armor piercing weapons. most things worth hunting have either light or medium armour along with resists to most damage. rifle is the only skill with a worthwhile AP3 weapon. carbine is a close second but it REQUIRES a full set of doctor buff to be viable. a T21 is viable with just auto-fire no specials on even ancient bull rancors when a pet is being used to tank.
If you're already working on Master Rifleman there's no real reason to change now. You obviously enjoy that style and if the suit fits wear it

I have been looking hard and long in the game, and not found any...
1) How do I find someone on Chimaera that sells good CH stuff like taming clothes, attachments, and +Maskscent attachments?
2) What do good CH clothes cost? 100k or more?
3) Good-qty pet stimpacks and vitality packs?
Please post here, or even better, game-mail me, Starman Wanabe, with info/offers.
I am on-line more-than-casually, try to get it to one hour per day (yes, I have a life).

I'm on Chilastra but you want to find a master tailor who can craft BE enhancements into the clothing. I paid 25k for +25 creature taming and +25 taming vicious on various items of wookie clothing. My tailor (Chiana) charged 1k per stat point basically. With a good set of clothes you need not worry about attachments. While I didn't get it, i could have had maskscent on the clothing as well at the same price.
2) What do good CH clothes cost? 100k or more?
My full set, hat, waist wrap, arms, shoulder cost circa 70k. (I cant remember exactly how much). But, I did have enhancements on each piece (not all CH). A single item with +25 to taming and taming vicious should cost around 25k.
3) Good-qty pet stimpacks and vitality packs?
I tend to use good old fashioned stim B's and trick1 to heal my pets. I am 3/2/2/2 in medic so my stims heal for an average of 500-800 and I buy packs of 40 (400ish heal power) for about 2k a piece. Not sure about vitality though. I got given some....
I think it's more up to the player than anything else.
I'm a 0,0,3,4 Medic so i can make StimC's with 30-34 uses for 400-650 dmg. per heal. Depending on how well it's made, experimentation, etc but with something like 4,3,2,3 Medic, you can may only be able to make StimB's, but your healing rate is increased considerably, and since your usage and experimentation modifiers are much higher, you stand the chance of better heals per use, albeit less uses than from StimB's.
