I still have $50 that says publish 19 will go live with the 1(0) bug/10 health intact, and another $50 that says it'll stay that way at least for several weeks until they fix it.

now really who in their right mind would bet against you???
The soundless pets went live from JTL beta and stayed that way for weeks.
It's like betting on a horse race that has 1 horse raceing.

I hope that all is well with you and the RL issues!

...I've been having some RL issues to deal with lately that have significantly cut into my time, and since I've had no new info/updates to pass along I've been spending my free time in-game and posting on the correspondent boards. I assure you when I have news you folks will be the first to know.
Hope you all are well, and glad you're still hanging in there. Keep the faith!

Well...If that does happen it could be a blessing in disguise....If they screw things up that badly they may not have any choice but to give us some love.

I just recently became Novice CH - does this bug mean it is not worth (currently) to bother with CH??? I am also going forpistoleer right now. What do u pros think?
I still have to fight my way through all the faqs anyway - but I still prefer to experiment in-game than just to spend time offline with the game...

The problem is we don't know, simple statistics and probability show it probably would be a bad idea to become a CH right now, but hey, weird things can always happen.

I'll bet against him! I just got a good deal on some ocean front property in Nebraska, and I'm feeling lucky!

If you're in it because you thought CH was a good compliment to your first combat profession or would suffice as one unto itself, it's probably not a good idea to take the leap, at the moment. If you are just deeply enamored with the coolness of pets and taming and all however, continue the path. In spite all of the grief and woe, design flaws and lax attention to bugs, it's still the coolest "tamer" profession in any MMORPG out at the moment.

Next time u talk to a Dev try to get a solid date for return fo our specials and resists for pets. Also the return of static spawns as at fanfest was told both those issues would be fixed in pub 19 at Fanfest.

Trust me, I've been trying... I haven't been able to nail down any response, let alone a timetable. Unless the changes weren't mentioned in the patch notes, they definitely are not a part of what Publish 19 is shaping up to be.

Don't forget the Post-CU 30k cap on CH Xp. That was a good dmg dealer to new CH's everywhere.

True, that was exceedingly damaging to our ability to attract anyone new to the profession, but at least any existing non-novice CH could play.

heh....did anyone ever think this is a fix for the #3 issue? Uncallable pets that were previously usable, seems like a "fix" to me, lol
