That's great. So there are so few folks playing the game that not only are we n00bs limited to the same planet, we're limited to the same city?
What are the other planets like? Are there any folks there or are they populated mostly by NPCs?
Thanks for the replies.

The reason this was done was as help to the noobs. You may not realize, but now you can join noob hunting groups, and vets know to look there if you need help. It is better than before IMO. The other planets have cities too... player and NPC. The most populated NPC cities are Coronet, Theed, Bestine, and Mos Eisley. By pupulated I mean by players. Player cities are formed by players and you can join those, you need to talk to the mayor to join though. Coronet is a good planet, critters of many levels of difficulty, and many serviced available (buffs, vendors, help, etc...)

Mos Eisley was actually a good choice. For one, it is an iconic Star Wars locale. Second, it is not overun by Vets that either don't have time, won't make time, or just ignore new players. Third, it allows new players to group with other new players and hunt.
I like Mos Eisley now because it has a high population of new players that are eager to play and learn about the game. I can always find entertainers there, and I can always find medics if needed.

restarting with a new character since the first time after the new player quests Mos Eisley was a good place to be.
There were lots of other new characters around to form groups, lots of people willing to teach skills etc to boost their AP (and THEY would pay you!) and it's not surrounded by dangerous creatures.
I think many totally new players, rather than new characters, starting out on Rori for example would be forgiven for thinking the game was deserted, get frustrated as there was no one there to help them and then quit... churning the numbers for any reason doesn't help SOE hence bring the noobs together and in this I actually salute them

Heh, that was the pretty much the first thing that I thought when I first bought this game... OMG ITS DESERTED (I started in Tyrena) and quickly left the game... It wasn't till a few months later that I found it again somewhere in my room and decided to give it a more serious try.
