I don't think anyone's asking for Unarmed moves that would make Smugglers ninjas. Just some moves along the same combat-avoidance line as the pistol specials are.

Well if they added them to smuggler they would remove them from pistleer cause everybody else would be screaming "nerf the smugglers/pistoleer they are invincible" all im saying is of all the problems with smuggler a lack of unarmed skill mods isnt on the list IMO



Hmmm? I meant along the same lines as the Smuggler's pistol specials, which are avoidance-oriented. Nothing to be removed from Pistoleer. I don't think we're asking so much for Unarmed skill mods either. Just a couple of neat Unarmed moves to use.

And there is no way anyone would ever say "nerf the smugglers/pistoleer they are invincible", at least not with a straight face. roflmao

Small issue to some, bigger issue to others. We have a whole profession to fix, so we have to look at the small issues along with the big so nothing is left out.

thats besides the point. again what im saying is, of all our issues a lack of unarmed mods isnt a big deal.

half to 3/4s of our tree is essentialy useless (depending on your take on slice/ dirty fighting)


do we realy want to go tossing inane crap into the mix? so we have no unarmed mods other than what we get from brawler....big deal we got bigger fish to fry.

So wait... am I wrong when I say that the skill points that I put into Combat Prowess, etc. to actually unlock the Jedi Initiate are never going to go away? That I can't have a full Jedi Template? Or am I retarded and you can actually drop these village skills after you unlock?

So in essence I will be hindered because I didn't unlock before patch 10? I will have what... 24 less skill points to use towards a complete jedi template? Which, if you think about it, is one Jedi Skill tree. That's kinda gay... but oh well... maybe we're both wrong, or at least I hope so.

No you won't be hindered. You will still be a full jedi. Those who unlocked before patch 10 had to choose the FS skills when the Jedi "revamp" happened.

This is a true statement, NOONE has an advantage over another as far as skill points go. The only difference is how you spend the rest of the skill points besides the 24 spent to get to jedi. Look at it this way its ur college points used to learn the ways of the jedi LMAO!!!!

pre-publish 9 Jedi wasn't based on templates. You got all the Jedi skills, Jedi were very great and powerful. But after pub 9 they had Jedi redone to the way it is currently. SO publish 9 made everyone start from zero except it gave people some exp criedt, so the people from the old system got to train skills for free. So they never had to give up anything from their template because their templates started on publish 9.
