Thread: Some humor for a class that has been screwed so badly....
Very, Very funny!
But seriously...do those babies still spawn, and where can I find them. I heard they were better pre-nerf.
haah its like a langlatch =/
u should of put an examine thing over it or something
or a radial menu
This not funny! You stay out of my dreams man!
... I'm not an addict. I can stop anytime. (I think?)
hehe good one )
I didn't know you got a taming bonus using a pork pie?
why weren't we told.
Bamb'Oo
Ran into a nest of these guys the other day while on planet: Georgia, near the frontier city of Atlanta. I unequipped my Colt45 (always dangerous on that planet); masked scent and walked slowly to one of the babies. The baby and I seemed to be communicationg when all of a sudden a band of Gap-toothe Rebels came crashing through the clearing firing at the lair and sic-ing their Bud-weis hounds on all of the adults. It was Pandemonium I tell ya.
I was screaming for them to stop screwing with my taming mission (it took me 45 mins and 7000m to find these guys) and they just skinned, gutted, and de-boned the myriad of corpses and staggered off with nary a word. The most humiliating part of the whole thing was that during the masscre one of the Bud-weis hounds broke from the battle and sprinted 200m away to "dance" with a non-suspecting surveyor's leg. Thankfully, the surveyor seemed to be AFB (away from body) as he just squatted there and took it. Of course once the handler finally noticed his missing critter he slurred something like: "Gahd Blessahd Dervahs!!! fluppin burmas frag nawwlyy toofa!" I am just greatfull they didn't turn on lil ole me.
BTW I never tamed one; I think those Gap-toothe Rebs cleared the area completely. I was able to cull some stats though before the massacre:
Name: Squirrell Avenger
CL: 45
HAM: 7500/7500/8000
AR: 1
resists:
kinetic: 65%
acid/electricity/energy/heat: 40%
cold:50%
Special attack: nut horde (not sure what this does)
Ranged attack: tree dizzy (AE dizzy affect that mesmerizes targets within 35 m. Apparrantly achieved when the SA runs around the trunks of trees at a maddening pace for no apparant reason. Lasts 45 secs and effectively lowers all defenses and attack speeds by 35% (not fully tested as the Gap-toothes had a 90% vulnerability to this attack).
Anyway... what a waste of an entire taming trip 2 full days with not a single SA to show for it...
Obviously an exploit. That chipmunk is fully grown and not a baby.
