lmao, ewak is funny! i am almost an ewok lol. I like that idea/ You are correct, it is very dangerous. The thing I have a prob with is i cant target other random critters or the pets will go after anything i target until I /dump. You make a very good point though, just to get em close and then attack is not a bad idea.

I am so confused and this is only the 101 class....Nope sounds cool I will make some notes!
Way i got things set up know is working pretty well for me;maybe the macros will help add to it seems these specials don't wanna stick all the time though.
I like running teams of pet so I have a total of 5 different sets of commands simplified.
1-9 = attack,special 1,special 2,follow me,stay,guard,group,store,ranged attack toggle.
q-o= same
a-l= same
z-(,)= same
last set of commands little trickier but only used on mounts and 20th level bio pet grouped with rancor and packleader
zx=attack,as=special 1,qw=special 2,fm=follow me,st=stay,gu=guard,gr=group,store=store,
I also keep a probot around with different commands first 3 letters of the command example attack=att
Anyhow this lets me work 3 pets very easily or 2 and various different combos easily and Pro-bot;If a pet uses the q-o his name starts with Q same with A and Z. If It is a pet that can't be grouped with other pets too high level or i just named it something other than Q,A,or Z .I use the 1-9 sequence of commands.
It is not a macro but does help once your fingers get use to the order of commands!

Great stuff here. Too bad when I log in my computer locks up now (but that is another section of the forums)

Where do you guys get this macro language from? I've looked in a few different places--and I've found the command in game that lists each of the commands, but I can't find a resource for what those commands do.
Can someone point me in a direction for a resource for the macro language?
EDIT
Never mind ... I found it.
Please forgive the stupid question.

I have gotten more complex macros i use at times and will post the stuff I use to hunt krayts soon (allowing you to heal1 pet from a distance at a time). Just never get time to update this, anyway, it is always in my sig.

How do you set up a macro to teach a pet?
You can't, the act of teaching requires the mouse to select the command on the radial. As far as I know there is no way to select the command to train via a macro
