Thread: Gathering Information about Publish 21 Pets.
Well, this is hardly an uber pet.....but the only one that I actually noticed maxing out the specials on as I was learning his skill.
A CL 1 Kreetle maxed out at 4 skill slots (including the innate skill that it came with). I believe I was getting 5 or 7 skill points per roll-over.
One thing I have noticed and wondered.....it seems that the skill slots open up more slowly if you creature has an innate skill already. In my experience, it seems that the innate sometimes "absorbs" the first slot or first couple slots that might normally become available. I see people saying that getting a pet with innate skills equals free skill slot.....but is this really true? Or is it simply true if you have a L2 or L3 innate in that you save a slot from being wasted on the L1 or L2 version?

I've got three cats I'm currently leveling. A 22 hilltop kima, a 23 greater sludge panther, and a 24 crimson razor cat.
All seem to get 10 training XP per cycle.
All seem to max out at five slots.
Right now the GSP is farthest along in TP, with 90.
I suspect that level determines these numbers.
2.) 8 points per rollover
3.) 3 ability points after 21 rollovers (gained with the first 3 rollovers)
How many rollovers can be done, until I finally get 'fully trained'??? I currently have 168 training points...

Fully trained only happens after you train the pet with Abilities. It all depends on the CL of the pet, which determines how many Trainable Ability Slots it has, and howquicklythe petearns the slots. For CL20 and below pets, this is typically reached at 8 Maturity Levels.
For CL 10 and below creatures,4 Trained Abilities will produce the 'Fully Trained' listing on the pet control Device.
