Creature Handler Archive

When I saw this thread I went out to find me one of these babies, when I found the adult I did a quick check on its stats. Every thing was as listed on SWGcreatures http://www.swgcreatures.com/detail.asp?creatureID=311

Except it had three attacks according to ranger examination

Special Attack 1:cmd_n[creatureAreaAttack]
Special Attack 2:cmd_n[creatureAreaCombo]
Special Attack 3:cmd_n[creatureMeleeAttack]

As noted by other posters, this is an AOE pet, it shares the same AOE as a bull rancor in SA1. SA2 is the area combo attack you see from things like the Gorax and Krayt.

This makes as far as I have seen this pet rather unique in terms of AOE attacks. The area combo attack is what you are probably observing with all the stuns and dizzies and what not.

Thanks for bringing to my attention, a very satisfying tame and very proud owner. Been looking for something quite unique for some time, this fits the bill nicely.

Oh great. Theres pets that have specials that dont show up on "examine"?

Just what I need after deleting most of my extra "specialless (sp) pets"

Day 2 and her Majesty's still kicking butt and taking names. One thing thogh careful while lvling her up. Make sure to pull the targets to u away from the rest of the group rather then sending her inor u both are in for a world of hurt.

Shhh! What ever you do, don't use it in PvP or the GCW people will come in and start calling for a pokemon nerf again.

The special do show up on examine, you just need to be a ranger to see it. Not sure too what lvl you need to be, I think master ranger, but it could be lower, not sure.

What I can tell you is I've not seen another pet with the area combo special. Considering the difficulty I had in getting this pet, I very much doubt anyone would risk this pet too much in the GCW

I am ranger 4x3x but i could see special attacks at xx3x I didn't try at novice so not sure if can do it at novice. Might be able to see specials at master scout though.

Ah Im Ranger 0 0 3 0 and I see the three attacks. They do indeed work on me.

First attempt at pulling one out of a lair, and I get one. Two tame attempts, with my +25 tame clothes, and +15 mask scent and it agros me.

Run away! But unfortunately I cant burst run, because Im dizzy and stunned and unfortunately ran too close to a gurreck lair. The queen damages the lair, and all the gurrecks jump it.... dead....
