Droid datapad storage for creatures was nerfed 11 months ago.


You can store 22 pets total at MCH level.


Droids, vehicles, and faction pets do not count against your creature storage.


One of the perks of being a CH is that you can have a creature pet out and a droid out at the same time. No other profession has this ability. I'm pretty sure this applies to faction pets as well.
