yea but... waypoints don't take up datapad space anymore, remember? so it'd be more all of us learning not to use ships and vehicles... again. hehehe

They don't? Cool.

*I played EQ2 for a month or so and must have missed the patch notes for when this happened.*

I don't think there were patch notes for it. I may be wrong, but as I remember they broke it accidentally, and by the time they noticed so many people had gotten used to it/overfilled their datapads that if they fixed it, people would riot.

There's code in the game to make this happen.

Just open up droid datapads to pet storage again.

Was this re-introduced? I still have a droid with 5 of my original pets that I didn't want to let go of even though they are subpar as ahunting companion. My first gualama, veermok, bantha, and beetle in particular I had thought this was no longer possible.

No, it hasn't happened, but if the devs wanted to, they could make this happen overnight.

Droid datapad storage for pets is one way only. Those of us who have pets stored on droid datapads from back in the day can leave them there forever, but once they're transferred from the droid datapad to the player datapad, they cannot go back to the droid datapad. You can't get pets onto them anymore.

I'm pretty sure that isn't possible. Have they been moved in recent months at all, or have they been sitting there for a long, long time?

they've been there since '03 when i upgraded from my rock beetles to GSPs. And will stay there forever as testaments to how much time I spent getting CH and then hunting with them

Yeah, that makes sense. You most likely wouldn't be able to get them back in there if you ever removed them.
