I just got my Novice CH last night and trained 2 - cu pas on Tatoo...

I was wondering since I have been reading about the Grand Wrix, is it possible to tame one at my level?

Also, I would like some recs on what to train at my level. I am sure this has been discussed before so I am sorry if this question offends anyone.

Thanks for the quick response.

I looked for a Rock Beetle last night but couldn't find one. I can't find a mission for them , I think because of my level. I only get missions at lv9. Could anyone tell me an approx. location of some RB lairs?

Thanks,
EneboT

If you mean the best starting pet, well, everyone has thier opinions, but look at the 'what was your first pet' thread for suggestions.

As for the best place. there really isn't one, but the best way is to attack creatures that con white or yellow (or red depending on how strong you and your creature is), that way you can get more xp. Also, attacking the creature your pet is attacking does not hurt the CH xp badly. so, it works fine if you do that.

As for the narglatch, get both taming and training 1 and creature empathy 1

Thank you, I appreciate your help. I plan on using a cowardly gurreck on Dantooine to level up.

You really won't be able to own a pet any non-CH couldn't have until you get Taming I and Training I. For starters, a rock beetle, cowardly gurreck or wrix would be a good start.

Myself, I just went "tamer berserk" and tamed/released babies til I made those lower levels, then tamed a Grand Wrix and had his help when I got bored of babies.

If you want a really good pet, you probably should get a BEd pet, if you want a non BE pet, maybe the rock beetle is good.

I just received my Novice CH and I tried to tame a Crazed Durni baby. I killed all the other Durnis there and when i tried to tame the baby, it kept telling me I couldn't tame it. When examined, it says that it is tamable. I kept clicking tame over and over and kept getting the same message. Am I doing something wrong?
