Thread: What type of animal gives the best XP?
During a very long battle at an imperial base i was going through pets like kleenex. However when the at-st finally went down I got 2000xp twice. I started with 2 pets 20-30 levels then switched to a 40 when the first 2 petswere about down or did go down then lost track as I kept peacing out and pulling new pets.I used more than 2 pets so not sure why I got 2000 and 2000. Maybe it is limited to the original 2 pets.
Granted I havent been using 2 pets for very long and some other times I get 0 xp for the at-sts.
Maybe it was a fluke or a makeup for no xp on an earlier one.
Obviously you need to be in agroup andfaster to hunt smaller things but I was pretty happy with that jump after the lowxp i was getting for the ST's at the base.

I use 1 GSP, I get 1300 xp per rancor, I average 50K xp per night. I am 4433 right now. I only have 260K xp to go so I expect to ding master sometime next week if I can keep my playtime up and do some hardcore grinding.
I really wish I had done this when weilding 2 pets was giving 2 times the XP... you old school MCHs had it easy
This is the same tactic i used to get to master. I was 2-3-1-4. I then started to go to Dath to hunt enraged rancors, I did this 3 days and shortly found myself a Master Creature Handler. But quickly spent that money by going to endor to hunt widows and mereks. I got my widow and a death head the first night right after getting master ch and have not seen one since.
