My bad, could have sworn he did, but I think the rest proves how much he knows about the current SWG combat system.

Sure, for starters, toughness is weapon specific, jedi powers will not work whilst wearing armour and PSG currently do not work since the armour hole bug was fixed (Havn't checked lately they may be working now).

Well here is some education for you;

First off I never said the person would be using a Lightsaber.

Second off Jedi toughness isnt Lightsaber specific toughness it works whether you have one armed or not. i.e. a TKM using vb's will benefit from it also.

Third Jedi powers cant be cast while wearing armor or psg's but a long lasting Jedi power can be used then you put on armor to get the effect.

Fourth Psg's do work or at least the last time I was on my Jedi, sure some might be bugged but I have had them work and even if they are bugged they will be getting fixed.

So next time educate yourself on the system before you call someone else ignorant.

The very fact you rate TKM as some kind of PvP god shows just how much you know. Don't you realise TKM went out of fashion around the same time resources started spawning for 80% comp armour some months back?

TKM = gimped with the exception of knockdown. If you had started this thread talking about fencer and a stun baton I may have granted you a tad more respect. But people like you make these sweeping statements that are based on completely incorect assumptions (in this case the myth that TKA are some kind of PvP god).

As for Jedi powers staying in effect once you put armour on, I can only presume this is another oversight within the revamp, quite frankly it should not be possible, you do realise that there is an armour equip timer going in with this publish though? No more instant armour on/off macros?

Umm I believe thathe was referring to an npc that hits for 2k washe not?

Next time read what people write before you go flaming them for being a noob, only to show everyone that you cant read.

Yes I also believe it was an oversite btw, seriously Jedi toughness and all Force powers need to go once you put on armor but as it stands now non-jedi will get more out of our skills than a Jedi knight will.

Hahaha, really? Cool!

First thing I do on any forum is disable the rating system. I just (edit: left out one important word...) *can't* let someone else decide for me what is important and what isn't so I just ignore all that BS.

I never would have known if you hadn't told me.

You sir have no idea how the combat system works, let alone Jedi.

Newbie ; noun, slang.

One that is new to something, especially a novice at using computer technology or the Internet.

Noob = Lazy way of saying newbie.

Now tell me how you didnt call him a noob considering you insulted him by saying he didnt know how the combat system worked much less anything about a Jedi.

Your not calling him a noob is alot like me telling a woman that she sleeps around with an unusually high amount of men but then telling her that I never called her a whore when she gets insulted.

So next time learn how to read.

I strongly disagree Borwin, if somebody where to tell me I know nothing about flying a plane I would not consider he was callng me a noob.

You are choosing to apply the term yourself whilst interpreting my words, of course, you are free to do this, it is your own mind afterall, but please refrain from telling me what I meant to say. My words are clear on the screen and not one of them is spelled n.o.o.b.

Wow its you again! Dont you get the hint?

You were wrong about jumping on the guys back and insulting him. Just suck up your pride and admit that you are the one that knows little and that he was right.

/Jedi grinding group swoops in and kills the entire lair including the baby

MCH: NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! #*&$&!^ Jedi.

is anyone else concerned about this?

honestly...no. in the year + that i have been playing i have only ever had ONE insident where someone killed a baby i was trying to tame, and that was only because it had aggroed me and i was running away trying to get it to calm down so i could try to tame it again.

there will be people trying to level yes, but they will not make life any more difficult for CHs than any other profession trying to grind their way to the top.

the problem is people who look at the game as a grind...not jedi in particular

I think Dath is going to turn into the Jedi grind planet, meaning it will cause problems for those of us that hunt for the few insanely rare tameables that spawn there...
