I have been Glowy since the day of the patch.... I only did one holocron though... I never wanted to be jedi.. ever.

I so far only did one tree, The one for the teal crystal and mind buff crystal, only cause i wanted the crystal... but I didn;t turn my exp in for the accuracy tree yet anyway, cause i don't care

I loved galaxies cause it was a star wars game where you weren't 1. Flying a ship 2. swinging a glowstick or 3. playing as luke skywalker.

I was a CH and swordsman even pistoleer was fun. It was being a badars person in the star wars world.. I love star wars so for me it was fun.. I made a name formyself and Met new people, I achieved goals that not alot of people did.. and I didn't have to follow a story. I hate seeing jedi now, I hate how the game turned out, its less starwarsy and more poserish then I would have ever imagined, not only is it the same as other SW games, but MMO wise its the same as all them now.. double whammy...

Thats why I am not happy.

what's this about nerfing creature pull abilities in pub 20?

last night i was doing the FS mission where you have to retrieve supply crates from a downed transport on endor, and the transport is surrounded by about 7 sith outlaws. so i was using my reclusive shear mite with its ranged attacked to pull the sith one by one away from the group so i could take them out individually without getting aggroed by any others.

if i lose this ability, i can see that i will have a lot of trouble with many of the FS combat missions.

A couple of observations for Galacium: I disagree about the slowness of the process for accumulating CH XP. I did the FS grind as a BH/CH, and after the CU went live, my ability to harvest CH XP in a group jumped immensely. Granted, players are understandably reluctant to have a group slot tied up by a pet, but having the pet grouped with your team is unnecessary for XP purposes. As long as you are grouped, you'll be fine.

On Saturday I was in a group with a novice right out of the box CH on Dantooine, doing level 80ish bol missions, for the most part. With a piket or thune thrown in for variety.

He was a bare novice when we started. During the course of running the mission set, I trained him 1/2/1/1 CH.

He used a level 14 canoid and a level 20 BE malklok to get his XP. BTW, this was a seven player group, so the pet was able to join in.

Caer and Araiya are glowy and have been unlocking mainly for things like the health buff crystal. I don't think there is much that is useful for CH, so Araiya is just going for vehicle control.

As I don't intend to have any of my chars become Jedi (Caer has been glowy for a year), there is a limit to the amount of sp I can expend on FS skills. I will continue to convert, but as I avoid grinding where possible, it's not that often thatI have to make that boring trip to the village.

Those lair missions on Dantooine are crazy funthese days! We're getting upwards of 16 creatures per round of spawns in the Bria server on those things. And at anywhere between 4400 and 7500 CH xp a head, that adds up very, very fast!
