Giant Peko Pekos are no longer tameable (extinct). They were at some point, though... so if you have a lot of money and can find someone with one you can get one...

Giant Veermoks ARE tameable. I dont know where to find them, however. I've only seen one baby and that was outside of Kaadara.

Giant Peko Peko was the first pet I ever saw in the game.I was a newbie and I met a CH way out sitting in a camp. I was talking about how huge the Fambaa I had fought were, and he said "take a look at this," and pulled it out. I was astonished. I'm sad to hear that now that I've gone CH after all this time I won't be able to own one of these.

It's not like they are grossly overpowered like Webmasters or Maulers, I think they should bring them back. I really want one!

i have a giant veermok found it in naboo south of the lake retreat around the mountain areas about 1 or 2k run south good luck

@spoda : i think that where i found my first , i killed alot of veermok letting them respawn waiting for the GV

Actually a Giant Peko Peko is level 22.. has about 6500 hams I think. Not sure of the exact stats, but I could go check. I have one.

It was one of the first things I tamed, back before creature level made a difference. I was just running from Kaadara to Theed looking for a baby Fambaa (had no idea they had no babies). Saw this HUGE bird and noticed it said "Giant Peko Peko (baby)". Tamed it after a few tries and it's been in my pad ever since. It's still 100/100 because it was a pain to fight with mostly... lol. You can only see its tail when you have it out, and it's so big that it's really hard to judge distance... especially since it's in the air.

I would be curious to see what price it would fetch, but it's not for sale anyway so it really doesn't matter. They were once tamable, but now are not. Maybe they will be again someday. It's fun to pull it out at a starport or just whenhanging around with new guild members... just to see the reaction.

Funny thing is that the giant peko peko (baby) was the 1st creature I saw in the game, it was flying in the newb area of theed, lol. That's why I wanted to tame one one day.

Giant peko peko are extinct, wich is odd considering they are not a great pet other thaneye candy. Though I think they may be back after the 'creature rebalancing' patch. As for giant veermok, they are quite easy to find, I see plenty of veermok lairs in the large montain area west of deeja peak, south of Keren.

Giant Peko peko have been exctinct for a while, i still look for them and still pop there lairs to see if one will spawn but alas i have not seen one in over a month or two or heard of any one tameing one.

Giant verrrmok babys are just really rare, Personally i think the spawning system is setup diffrently if you go looking for Alpha Verrmoks then you should find Verrmok Babies of every type its just dependingo n what area of the game your in.

go up to the emp retreat, As far as why the pekos are extienct its cause there so big that they feel there too big, but if you think that is big you should see a peko peko albatross.

I have a giant Peko Peko on Intrepid I'd be willing to peddle. =)

Yeh..I wish they weren't extinct. It was my dream to have a trio of them once I hit master, but for some reason I never found the time to go out looking. That and a trio of greater rats, but the combo really sucked since obviously they're level 22 and are eaten alive by commandos in 20 seconds. Simultaneously.

WHo knows, maybe Giant Peko are on the list of babies to return, lets hope

i saw one early in the game, theyre stats are nice but really all that impressive, i really have no idea they were taken away.

And i tamed a giant veermok yesterday, i can get veermok missions, so id say thats your best bet.

HI. I am a dabbler CH but I am goin for BH. I tamed a giant peko peko long ago. I stopped playin for a month came back and now I cant call Nightwing out any more. Now I know why *sighs*. Well if you are on the bria server send an email to Krie Blood-Axe and I will sell to you. First 5k gets him. Dont want alot for him. When I want money I hunt for it, lol. I just want him to go to a good home .
