well, keep looking i will be. I can't count how many bull lairs I have done in the past 1.5 yrs lol. I am also convinced, much like in the matrix that what happened with your tame probably wouldn't have happened had I gone and pulled a lair (which was my intent right before I switched to my alt to go to the image designer).
What I am saying is, I doubt a baby would have spawned if I had pulled missions, or changed the dynamic of the rancor hunts on dath.
At any rate, I am very glad I did not go hunting bulls last night as I believe that noone would have gotten to tame one if I had. 
Congrats dude, you deserve that tame.

very well done. It's alsomt as if the Bull Rancor has become the tame that makes you a real master lol.
Kinda like a personal unoffical CH Knight trial.

I would call this a trial as much as a tribulation 
but it is going to be soooo worth it when I get mine...

Nyurra, as Ekaw stated it was a mission lair. I'd like to also add that unless someone came along and tapedthe lair and the rancors repaired it back to full then soemthing interesting happned. I arrived and it was an adult rancor a rancor youth and the baby bull rancor. I never had to bother with clearing the intial spawn to tap the lair. Though if someone had come and tapped the lair their wer only these 3 cors and corpses around. Kinda interesting since i always assumed that babies dint spawn in intial spawns at least bulls.
I also want to mentioned that I too read hossps thread about how rares seem to grow fasterthen most other pets. Id have to really agree after getting my bull. Tamed him at lvl 5 and now 24 hrs later hes lvl 32 and his height is inbetween that of a rancor youth and and adult rancor. Amaazing. Hes eating very well hehe
