Creature Handler Archive

House (zoo?) storage is a good compromise. We would still be limited in what we could carry into the field, but could change our set to accommodate different missions (taming, PvP, PvE, etc).

My god, I'm so tired of the people claiming CHs aren't supposed to be selling pets. Why in the world would we have a /transfer command if we weren't supposed to sell creatures, and how else are we supposed to make money if not by selling creatures? Please get your facts straight and stop assuming things already, I'm thoroughly tired of people who think they know how this profession is 'supposed to work'. I certainly understand BE's frustration, but nerfing another profession is about the most retarded idea on how to 'fix' BEs.

I've only ever sold one pet in my life, and for the same amount of time I could have made just as much money running faction destroy missions, and come out 600fp ahead. But I am one of the emotional Ch's. I like my pets. I have a woodland kima. he was my first tame not of a newbie creature. CL 17, no armor, mediocre damage, mediocre ham (my gronda at CL 18 withar 1 25% reduction on energy and kinetic has more ham). He is too cute though. I don't need a ton of creature slots to fight with (2 gronda's and 2 grand wrixes seems to hold true for most situations). I don't sell (though I do give non-combat pets to people who promise to take good care of them). But I like to collect. I like to tame. and I can't bear to give up the ones I have, so I am at a roadblock. The fun of being a CH for me isn't in watching my creatures step on things, and since that is what I am expected to do, and at this point all I have left, I am not sure CH will remain fun.

Wow guys thanks for the incredible support. I just wish we could get a dev response to this. I wonnder if it is Dev policy to ignore these. I hope not and I know Holo or Q would never do that to us ( come on devs proove me right)=).

I find it a little frustrating to be constantly juggling what to keep in my datapad. There is nothing worse (for me) than having a datapad full of pets for friends / customers and finding yet another baby that I *need* to tame :-)
