For a week now, Ive search Dantonnie for this beast. I've covered 99% of the planet on my speed bike not one spawn of any kind grauls maulers. IS this pet instincted now?
I just saw a spawn yesterday on the Radiant server. There was another spawn of Grauls nearby which I was lucky enough to tame a baby graul, finally!
If I remember correctly, the Grual Maulers wereabout 6000m West of the Mining Outpost. I actually saw 2 different nests of Grual Maulers, but I'm not able to tame those yet. The other one was more SW of the Mining Outpost. They're definetly there in that area.
I think it entirely depends on your server. I spent some five or so hours looking for plain level 30 Grauls on Dantooine and Dathomire at the weekend. On Dantooine all I found was one adult but loads of Graul Mauler babies. I had done some searching on the forums for Graul spawns and I found some references to an area on Dathomire west of Rancor Land that had loads of Grauls near a river. In my many hours of flying around I did not see one graul of any variety anywhere on Dathomire.
It appears the servers spawn differently somehow.
The missions are quite good earners, 17k a pop, only 2 critters at each spawn and GMs don't last long against a couple of armoured pets and my Carbine.

Pull missions with a group of approximately 11k credit payout level and those are typically graul mauler lairs. I've had to kill four of them because I'm not currently skilled enough to tame them.
Yes. Sorry. 11k a pop, not 17k :s

guess I did, so that means certian creature would never be seen in the wild unless a mission spawns them.
No, not at all. In fact it's probably the other way round; some creatures will never appear on mission terminals.
You can always tell wild lairs from mission lairs; mission lairs will be labelled "a graul mauler lair" whereas wild lairs will say "a mound of dirt" or "a pile of bones" for example.
