You can find grand wrix on Talus, but you're much more likely to find them on Corellia.

You can get grand wrix missions out of any of the major cities. I've chased after them from Bela Vistal, Coronet, and Doaba Guerfel, but seen them near Kor Vella and Tyrena as well.

Keep in mind that there are always aggro mottled wrix around wrix and grand wrix lairs.

Unfortunately, after the nerf, there will no longer be GSP v grand wrix debates. The nerfed GSP will win. Stripping the armor from the grand wrix settles the argument for once and for all.

I'm not sure why more people dont use crimson razors. CL 26, same HAM as a GSP but does 300-310 damage.

Hundey,

The reason is that the GSP has +50 more kinetic resist than the crimson razor cat. It becomes a better tanking pet. I was curious to why you mentioned it and i looked at swgcreatures.com to see the stats on the crimson razor cat. It does do more damage, but what peaked my interest was the special attack 1 - Dizzy. I'm a Carbineer and our specials that are suppose to dizzy don't work properly. So, having a pet that does Dizzy on command (new CH abilities) combined with Chargeshot1 will make a great combo on NPCs. The other special is stun, it almost makes the CRC into a /confusionshot special from the BH carbine tree.

i posted this on the trade forum but within 20 minutes it was already lost on page two. i apologize if i'm not supposed to post this stuff here, but i figured this was the best place. anyway, i have a grand wrix that's been in my datapad forever and i'm not planning on pursuing CH any further. i'm 1,1,1,1. so if any ahazi CH's are intersted in it just send an email to aarelia with an offer. thanks guys!

Ah, I remember my first grand wrix "durni", still have him.

They used to be really rare and still are, but their stats got major nerfing, so they aren't so grand anymore. Plus bio-engineers can probably make something better at a lower creature handling level.

Still a nice fast and fierce pet though for CH purists, I'm sure somebody would be willing to take it off your hands.

EDIT: Hehe, just noticed you are a BE on Ahazi. I'm looking for CL60+ pet with high electricity/kinetic resists, what can you do for me? Ingame name is Alexco

My one has just become fully grown, if you don't have one, go tame one! They are wonderful creatures, and stand very, very tall!

I don't see much said about themonthis forum, but they make a great companion while you are searching for that ellusive GPS.

they used to be one of THE pets to have along with greater sludge panthers. Awesome pets until the nerf, I love the size though.

My Grand Wrix is one of my favorite pets. I don't use him to hunt, but more often than not he is my sidekick while in town.

The night I tamed ceaser was one of the most fun times thatI have had in this game. Iwas just barely to the point to where I could tame him and just a little bit over novice pistoleer. There was 3 wrix lairs on the same screen. It was a great fight with me and my pet being near death several times. The wrixs hadseen right though my masked scent so there I am trying to stay alive and to move the fight away from the baby so he doesn't argo me. When the dust had settled I hit masked scent and headed back to the lairs and sure enough there he stood. After 3 attempts he decided thatI wasn't so bad of a person after all.

I have been inharder fights and have died with my loyal companions by my side. But when I look back on that night I realize that was when I became a creature handler.

I love these topics on grand wrix. There have been anumber ofdiscussions on what is the best lvl 25-30 pet which seem to center mostly on the GSP or boar wolf, but I always jump in to say don't forget about the grand wrix! While it does have lower HAM anddoes a bit less dmg then GSP/boar wolf, it has better over all resists. When fighting NPCs, my GW always lasts longer than my GSP.The fight animation of the cats in general is the best I think, the way they pounce up and down, swing their paws. My grand wrix was my first "real" pet worth keeping and I still have it.

These were such cool pets pre-nerf, I had a pair called Gnaw and Claw, really miss those bad boys

The only non bio cats I have now are a pair of "Crimson Razor Cats" Carn and Dearg.

I hope they do something decent with the CU for CH, its been a long time in the wilderness

Yes...Yes nothing like setting 3 Grand Wrix's(not the Gimped we have now) upon some unsuspecting critter. I remember a time (pre nerf) some dumbass challenged me to duel, so I accepted and he took off at a burst run.........Well I just happen to have some 3 GW's out at the time........needless to say burst run did not help any.....He was dead before I even got in shooting range.....

Couldn't agree more. I was given one as a gift before I could even train him. Now that I can train much higher I still pull him out for all occasions. I use him less for battle now, as I don't want him laid out, but he's fantastic. In fact, because of him I've sought out other cats...last night got a crimson razor cat. Now, I'm looking for the swamp stalker. You have to love being a CH, right?
