Telling from the smoke rising up from underneath the Swift Charging Bol, I take it is a lair boss.

Most deff a boss, I had heard that there was a greater chance for a boss to spawn in a patch note but I've never actually had seen one until then. So if you figure that a boss spawn is super rare, a baby boss if even possible is uber rare, and mixed with the fact that a boss spawns, as someone else said, when your attacking a nest, the chances are 100% that it will agro you if it ever does spawn.
So if they said the tamable examine is working, this most def may be an area that is being over looked. If this area is being over looked than it's possible that there are other areas that are being over looked as well. Have the Dev's ever said that the spawn rates for all baby creatures are on par for what they wanted?
As well it should stand to reason that at launch if there was let's say 300 tameable creatures and now there is only let's say 280, having the top most famous pets removed, what would be the plans to bring back us up to the number of tamable pets that we saw at launch?
Further more are they ever going to make it so you can actually use a giant pet without them running off 200m in the distance?
I think our proffsion will make more sense after the CB, but there are issues such as those mentioned above that are outside that box and there doesn't seem to even be a twinkle in the eyes of the devs of when our proffesoin will ever make it on the improvement sched, instead of the choping block.

A part of me is hoping that, if the boss creatures that are labeled as 'tamable: yes' is an error, then perhaps some of the creatures that are listed as 'tamable: no' may also be an error and actually do spawn babies, albeit rare, more specifically for example- Mire Marauder 'tameble: no?'

I'm keeping my fingers crossed on this one.

just thought i'd mention a reminder or notice that the kliknik queen harvester is no longer tamable. i was curious after many many months of not being on Yavin, despite not being nearly a good pet, the name has some value and i scouted one out. heres the screenie. hopefully they made it not tamable due to the fact that a "queen harvester" should have much better stats than it does now

And of course I released mine about 2 days after he was full grown as I didn't think much of him at the time. Wow that was a long time ago that I had one. To think I actually had a pet that is now extinct. I should be kicking myself, but I am not.

When I quit (sometime last year) I had a plains hunter baby and a few spiders (aracne warrior, king/queen merek i think) Anyway, I thought I would renew to see how the game is now...I just checked my datapad and my plains hunter baby is still there along with the aracne warrior, but my 2 at-st's and the mereks are gone....Seems weird...Or did they remove some stuff since I've been gone?

Greetings all,

Nice thread to have around! just started this profession, and its a blast! i find myself looking for babies all the time now! Anyhoo, i went to Swgcreatures.com lastnight, and aquired about 16 Trojans (according to Trend.com virus scan and Spy-bot). Ive used the site MANY times, this is the first time its happen, and im always scanning my machine, this was the place i got it. Ive emailed the admin, but just wanted to warn ppl........Ok so the real point to this, i saw a lady lastnight with a Mammoth Bearded Jax the other night. She told me she got it on Rori, but that the nest was only normal Jaxes! So my question is this, do rares appear randomly that way? Are they different for each server? How often do they add new ones?! Thanks for your time!

Sometimes nests could have a varity of animals of the same breed, for instance the Jax. There may be low level jax medium level and high level jax all sharing the same nest, and if theres a baby in the nest it could be any level jax

Impressive list but you forgot one..

The Malignant Squill.

This is a Diseasing Deathblowing Armored lvl 50 squill , immune to cold attacks.

This must be a very rare pet because not even SWGcreatures knows that this one spawns baby's.

Here is a screenshot to prove it

Does anyone ever tamed one of these ?

The Extinct Pets:

  • kliknik queen
  • bloodseeker mite queen

I've a pair of KQ which I used to call out both but now I realised I can only call out one, I'm thinking of selling one or exchange for another rare/extinct pet. Anybody can advise me how much I can get for it?

BMQ is listed as extinct pet above, I wonder what abt the regular bloodseeker mite, is it rare or extinct? If not I will release it or sell it away (any idea how much?)...

Many thanks in advance.

kliknik queen will sell very very well if you find the right buyer. as for the regular bloodseeker mite, it is not extinct nor rare.

Thanks!

Btw, "sell very very well" means "how well" actually?

Since the regular bloodseeker mite is badly nerfed now, I guess I will release it to make space for my new pet.
