I understand that creatures can learn abilites from fighting creatures, but is it also possible to tame a creature, and find that it already has one just from taming it?So inorder to learn an ability I have to just tame a bunch of creatures, or kill a bunch with my pet, and hope that it learns one? Am I getting this correct?
When you tame a creature there's a chance it has an ability. Take for example an arachne drone I tamed on Endor. It has Bleeding Attack (L2). After taming it, I could teach it a command to use that ability. For instance bleed. And then I can use /tellpet bleed to make him do a bleeding attack. After having used him to fight for a while, HE will teach ME the Bleeding Attack (L2) ability. Which I can then train to other pets that has unlocked a training slot.

quick quesion about Vigorous Health:
when you says it increases health by %25 do you mean that if the pet has Vigorous Health L3 its health is increased by %25 from its original heath or is it increased by %25 with each level of Vigorous Health?
Its not 100% what the numbers are for Vigorous Health, however from what I have seen, L1 will add approximately 20 - 25% to a Creatures Health. L2 should stack on top of this, and L3 should stack on top of the previous levels. No solid information has been given on approximate precentages of health gain, from L2 and L3 Abilies.

Did see htis mentioned off hand; Anyone have Guarded Stance when used on a pet (in this case the original pet with the ability) not get achknowledged at all by the pet? So I even do the test of targetting my other pet and then tell pets to do their specials they both have, one is not guarded stance other is. The one with guarded stance doesn't have ? or ! go above his head, other has the expected ? pop up.
Have you given the ability a command to be used? Makea command is listed, in thePet Command Window.

Do I need to have a Creature Handler to bring both my pets to full growth or is there away that I can do it myself?
Pets will only gain Training XP while being used by a Creature Handler. Non-CHs will need to have a CH 'level' the pet up for them, so that they can reach full size adult hood. Also keep in mind that the CL of the pet will never change.
I've made a few updates to the original post, in hopes to clarify a few things. I've also added a temporary chart listing how many Trainable Ability Slots a pet should max out with, based upon the CL of the pet. It may not be accurate, so I need more feedback in order to correct anything that isn't correct.
We also need information on Intimidating Attack and Pinning Attack, as well as the Training Point cost on L2 and L3 Triggered 'Buffs' and L3 Triggered Attacks.
Just a reminder to everyone....
Please usethis thread to post Pet vs Ability findings.

I have a question:
I am a non-CH and i have this lvl 10 Razor Cat...now when i Fight with it it doesnt seem to get training xp :S My question hereby is: is training xp only for CH or am I doing something wrong? so can training xp for pets only be achieved by CH?

Your assumtion on having to be a CH for a pet to gain training xp is correct. This has been tested and seems to be the way it is intended. So, either pick up novice CH, or find a CH who is willing to train your pet thru combat.

I have trained Vigorous Health (L1) to 3 animals. All level 7. One Vynock, and 2 Murra.
The Vynock went from 990 to 1129
The 2 Murra went from 1215 to 1363.
Hmm....
If that is the case, then it might be that Vigorous Health is similar to Doctor Buffs, in the amount of Health that is gained, based on the base Health.
Finally found a creature with Intimidating Attack L1 and have learned it.
Its entry is now updated and confirmed as working.
Pinning Attack appears to be the only Ability that I am aware of, that does not have any information listed. If anyone has learned this Ability, please post information on it.
i also found that the addition of ability slots are totally random. i leveled a CL32 crazed gureck to maturity level 7 now and got 2 ability slots (gained after level 6 and 7! - after level 5 i had 55 training pts but no ability slot). my CL58 dessert gurreck charger got 2 ability slots with its first 2 maturity levels.
