It's been a while since I have last checked the CH forum so this may have been asked before. Has anyone else seen the giant pets running around on your server? Gurcats, dewbacks, and razor cats the size of a mack truck. Is this something new and if so how do you get them to grow this large?

Don't ask me how it happened, but I have a cl61 razor cat called Cringer, and he's about the same size as your average dewback, maybe bigger. Must have been something in his DNA. How I wish I could put a saddle on him, that would be sweet.

CL25 Greater Sludge Panters (back in the day) were always bigger than me anyway (tallest bothan possible) and razor cats use the same graphics.
I have a CL70 huurton and a CL58 gurreck that are the same size as they have always been (unless this size problem is for new tames only?)

New BE pets are growing to a size dictated by their CL rather than the normal size for their species. So if you have a CL 65 CuPa, that's going to be one big-azz CuPa. Not sure if that has been fixed- it was showing up pre patch 20.

it isn't fixed, as it seems this is intended.
conversely, a creature of CL10 or less is miniaturized.

Actuallyit appears to be a remnent of code put in place ready for the new ch training system, aparently pets will soon be tamed at full wild size/level/stats etc and as they gain xp from fighitng they will increase in size and gain 'slots' that you can use to traion specials into them.

The down side to this mess is that has destoryed non-CH pets. A CL10 CuPa, for example, doesn't get big enough at full maturity to be mounted.

This has nothing to do with the new pet training system. BE pet size has been dependent on CL for a few months now.

Post-CU kimos come out small because their base creature is so large.
Basically, if your pet is a higher CL than the base creature's it will be larger. If the CL is lower than the base, your pet will be smaller.

Not true since BE CL10 Cu Pa are almost half the size of a normal CL10 Cu Pa.

I said basically. That doesn't mean it is 100% accurate.
We also don't know what the "base" size is, we can only guess. All creatures have a scaling factor from the base model. For most creatures, one varient probably uses the 1.0 scaling, but that doesn't necessarily have to be true.
