OK - since there doesn't seem to be any other way to get SOE's attention:


I have cancelled my account



Are you sure you want to cancel your subscription?


Since you paid in advance for this subscription period, you will be able to play until July 13, 2005, at which time your subscription will be closed and you will no longer be able to play the game.


If the pet issues get fixed by 13th. July then fine, I'll resubscribe.


Otherwise it's "goodbye".


If anyone else is doing this then please add to this thread - you never know, it might get thier attention....

You know what? You're right.

This game has a huge problem and there is only 1 of 2 possible reasons.

1. The developer team is way too small and way overworked so they can't keep up with the problems.

2. The developer team is inept.


As I am beginning to believe that #2 is the more accurate statment, then it would be stupid of me to reward their failure by giving them my money.

I'm joining you and cancelling my account. If they put in some fixes, great... If not, well maybe I'll give WOW a try and come back here in 6 months or so.

Obi-Wan: Well you could try sharpening it on these younglings. I've got a headache and all their questions are driving me NUTS!
Anakin: hmmm.... Sharpen my lightsaber on younglings...... hmmmmmm.....
Obi-Wan: uh, that was a joke Anakin. I'll spot you the cash for a new crystal THIS time, but next time you're on your own.

I am doing it today when I get home from work. I wont waist my money on this game anymore. Especially when they just s_h_i_t on me left and right. I have spent roughly around 400 dollars worth of online fees for 2 years worth of time, 2 expansion costs, and the Collectors edition of the game. I cant put up with this anymore especially when they see my 2 years worth of time only woth the equivelent of double xp for two weeks.

When it is mentioned that there is a bug on the test server...2 WEEKS AGO that will kill the profession from being able to play and it still goes live with no mention of the bug...the chain of command there really shows its flaws. I dont wish anyone getting fired from a job...i know how tough it is to get one and keep one. But something needs to be done here.

This is NOT acceptable in anyway.

Cancelllation pending, given how fast the CSR turnaround was. I expect a full and complete fix to pets once this gets looked at, though. This should never have happened in the first place.

O.k. I'm officially cancelled. It took me a few minutes to find where to cancel though!

They've got until July 15 to come up with some fixes, or they're cut off from my wallet.

For anyone who wishs to know, go starwarsgalaxies.com, login to your account, then select "My Account" at the top of the homepage (the Station part at the top, near the little arrow and "Comm Station").


You will then see your options for your subscriptions to SOE games.

Well I was plaining on renewing wehn accounted ended but now after this guess not. Oh well it was a great game at one time but all good things muct come to a end.

Yeah, I'm gone too. I'm cancelling all my accounts with SOE.
