I'm sorry, did you mistakenly think this was the TK Fencer or Swordsman board?
We don't answer questions about those professions here any more then we buy or sell items here.

As an MCH I can tell you to drop nothing. Get a NON-CH BE pet that has lots of HAM, Great resists, Nice specials, Light armor and killer damage. Now most BE's won't make these, but if you do find one you will have your trusted companion and have not lost what many of us MCH KNOW we have given up just to stay the **edit** children of Star Wars.

And you thought jedi were hated during this period of star wars. Pull out 2 graul maulers and listen to the hate.

Sign for Hutt Faction here: Hutt Faction

Not against broad changes, just profession specific ones (read as CH) that go against what we've been told in the past.

Okay, I'll humor it this time.
Keep swordsman. With a good power hammer you can do a ton of mind damage per hit, and you wont need the extra defenses from fencer or power boost from tk since the pet will be soaking up damage.
Take at least novice medic as well for stim b's in case your pet needs them.

I don't now how rough it is on Valcyn, but on Intrepid i haven't got any hate yet. But i don't have twin grauls
Actually, i got even complements from someone, saying "i have great respect for CHs, takes a lot of dedication to be one these days".

can someone please tell em why this post got flamed so much? the author was just asking which of the 3 profs mentioned would work best with CH thats all!

to think we moan about people having a go at CH's, as soon as someone mentions another prof in these forums we slag em off good and proper.

i'd say go with swordsman too, but tbh you may be better off with TKA or Fencer as often its us that have to rescue our pets. ultimatly tho you should just choose whichever of the profs you enjoy the most!

You need Scouting 4x4x to go Creature Handler. I'm TKM and find soloing with my pets to be quite fun. I know nothing of the other skills but I do fine with TKM and my pets.

I really enjoy fencer, but since they only get light armor piercing you will probably be better off mastering swordsman if you hunt the big boys...welcome to the not-so-exalted ranks of CH! May it bring you as much joy as it has me...

I too am MTK/MCH and it is a good combo for hunting rares and PVE. If he still wants to hunt higher level NPC's he will have a problem with MTK because alot of them have high kinetic resists and some have 100%. Since MTK only does kinetic damage and pets also do kinetic damage, you are hosed. I have not done fencer or swords but I think they have damage types other than kinetic.

That's what I wanna know, it seems a lot of us MCHrs are getting pretty damn bitter, his question was completely valid for this forum, I think some poeple need to take there Flintstones vitamins and cheer the **** up. The templet I use is Master CH, Master Swordman, TKA 4004 and works real good for me.

i apologize for the fellow creature handlers lack of respect for someone inquiring about being a creature handler. they act like grumpy old men who cant find their dentures.
