Thread: Ok Vert, Time for some Answers

Hi Vert,
Some questions I would like some answers to.
1) So how was Austin?
2) Is that meeting over?
there that's two inocuous questions now for the real thing.
3) Publish 10 was supposed to go live last week, it didn't, surprise surprise, so when will we see this misbegotten publish?
4) Sandbox, who's in, and will we know who is there representing us? If it is not Talon, Pluto, Tivo if he was still here, then I throw up my hands.
5) OK what did the dorks in Austin say about fixing our huge problems? Or are we being screwed over simply by being ignored?
6) Did you leave any booby traps for the Devs? Pranks?
7)Give us a run down Vert we need to know what wenton?

Did try to feed TH to your rancor just to have him turn into a Jedi and have your own pet atack you?

BTW: Vert, I had this random thought just hit me.
Correspondent for a Day. Every two months SOE would allow one person other than the Correspondent access to the Forums. This would provide the necessary checks and balances that some have mentioned from time to time to insure Quality Control from the player perspective.
1) Each community would vote their own CFTD.
2) No CFTD could be the same Community member for a 6 month period.
3) CFTD's would be bound by all the same agreements of the Correspondent Program.
4) CTFD's would be allowed to grade their Communities Correspondent on presentation of current problems/issues.
Anyway, welcome back. I'm sure you have minimal amount of news for us.

You guys should stop ragging on Vert. You're angry with what has been going on in the game and our profession and are bringing it down as if its vert's fault. Vert is not our enemy and he is not out to see the demise of the profession any more than you or anyone else (including the devs, contrary to popular belief). I just say quit the childish finger-pointing, see what vert, the devs, other correspondents, etc say about the summit, and hope for the best.

What are you talking about I've never seen anyone here really rag on Vert. We are all very thankfull for what he has done to get us fixed and is trying to do. I hope austin was fun did ya see any good sites or do anything else interesting while in town?
BTW I remeber reading in here that the last time TH posted it was pretty insulting what did he say? does anythone have a link?

He referred to us with the old Pokemon insult. It drew such an outrage that I believe the thread was deleted. He also call some of our pets cowards when they introduced the pet running bug. It made CH uplayable for over a month until it was acknowledged and fixed.... sort of.

um...had something to say....but i forget...something about friggin waiting until vert actually gets back before pounding him with questions......or something.

from what ive seen they would represent all of us very well, they are all honest to a fault even if it means pissing people off lol
Oh pub 10 is now set for monday i believe lol well supposed to me haha we shall see

I am not "ragging on Vert". I don't think I have ever posted anything negative about Vert.
The gist of this is simple, you went to Austin (on our money btw) to consult and conspire with the Dev team and Captain Dork TH.
So this happened, is it not a legit request to ask him to tell us what happenned. If you feel that is "ragging" on Vert, you ain't seen nothing baby.
We want to know if they are actually going to "DO" something about our broken profession or if we are going to get another year of "political double talk" from the freaking Devs right down to our correspondents. When I hear correspondents mouthing the same words as the Devs it really makes you wonder if they are our correspondents or the mouth pieces of the great and mighty Dev team at SOE.
Now that was a small rant. You want to see me be scathing read my post in "the pattern continues" to the CM's.

Those are my feelings as well. There better be some MAJOR commuication happening from the devs and correspondents when they get back, I don't want to hear excuses from any one of them...
