Thread: the logic behind CH xp
I just made master ch last night, and pretty quickly too! The thing I seemed to notice the most is the lower lvl creature I used, the more xp I got. And it makes sense to me, because the lower the level the harder it is to keep your creature alive against vor hunters or creatures of equivalent. I did the same as you, I mainly went after vor hunters, sometimes solo, sometimes with a group, and I used a lvl 17 non-BE creature and received 1000 xp for each vor. Also, no matter what planet I was on, if I saw a baby I would train, if possible skill wise of course, and then release if I didnt want it.
I hoped that hoped some, if not, respecify anything, or send me a message, I'll be glad to give what specifics I can!!
Hope that helps!
I understand that there is often no rhyme or reason for the way things are in this game, but surely this can be calculated somehow.
Thanks,

Emphasis on the "no rhyme or reason" part. I knew this crowdwould get a kick out of that. Thanks for the replies.
My conclusion = No one knows.

I have come back to ch for the grind was one from late july til nov so I knew what I was doing.
new stuff is I find BE pets give significantly less xp per lvl prob cause /con isn't CL based?
i've been using two different BE'd pets so far in my grind. I'm currently 4/1/1/2 and have gotten all of this using a l vl 14 BE Verne and an lvl 18 BE Gurrcat. Grinding on the spawnin the geo cave i've noticed a difference between the two pets. The verne gets me rougly 800xp per kill and the gurrcat gets around 1200. while i would prefer to use the verne because of its ranged attack, the gurrcat has a much faster attack speed, the problem with this is that the gurrcat gets messed up if he gets stuck in the middle of a fight. its not too bad, i just need a place to grind when the geo cave is going through its slow spawn time. any suggestions?
