Ok, I have no pets to speak of, but I am following the advice of going up the counter-sniping branch first. I have Abilities 3 which gives me Flurry 2, but this doesn't seem to hit all that well. Is the damage really that different with the flushing shot 2?

Most I ever do in damage is around 1500 with the DX-R6 max damage 350, 5.0 spd with the headshot2. If I use Flurry 2 or Startle shot, the damage is usually around 5-700.

So, ummm... does the damage change that much for flushing shot 2?

First off, unless you're hunting rancors or something else acid-weak, why aren't you using a T21? Secondly, yes,
damage on flushing2 is about on par with HS2, but AoE.

I like cheese.

Well actually FlushingShot2's Damage multiplier is x4 whereas Headshot2 is only 2.5x I believe.. FlurryShot2 has a lower multiplier that FlushingShot2, I think it's x2 or x3 damage.. FlushinShot2 is your most powerful attack damage wise until you StrafeShot2 at Master Rifle.

Flurry2 = 2.5x, + Dizzy, AOE
Flushing2 = 4x, + Posture up + Stun, AOE
Headshot2 =2.5x, Single target.

Thanks for the information everyone. I hadn't settled on the T21 because I was too busy playing around with all the other ones. After 3 months as a TKA, I got a bit carried away having more than one weapon

I'll try and stick with the T21 and see what results I get. After making this post, I read some of the FAQ and found I should have gone there first

Hi all,

First off, great prof! I am having a lot of fun despite the lack of ppl doing CH now. I guess thats the important thing.

I just wanted to check i am doingthe best i can to level this prof to master. I am a TKM and essentially tank for my pet in the squill cave...I use a level 12 adult gurrcat and he gets 400-500 xp a kill. Essentially i put him on a stay get myself aggroed, then spin attack them to nearly death and then call him to attack them cycling through them all before i finish them off.

Doing this I can get 52000xp in about 90 mins. This is actually quite useful in that I am grinding FS as well so levelling CH is like a bonus FS tree for me!

But if there is anyway thats quicker as I level up then I'd appreciate the advice - or will I still be using my lvl 12 gurrcat for the top bubs?

Thx!

I'm not sure, but if you can, try a level 18 pet .... i heard from several people they give better XP .... no clue why though

Yeah, I started using a CL26 and would get 180, 360, and 480 xp (depending on what was killed). I then switched over to a CL19 and would get something like 300, 500, and 600 xp. I'm not TKM so I find that getting in a large group works best for CH xp, if you have a CL19 with ranged that would be ideal. Just sit back and shoot the badies as the others take the damage.

ill admit im only on tier one duty missions, but when engauged by multiple enemies(TIEs since im rebel) ive been going after the reactors on all but one of them from a group since with my current weapon i can disable in 2-3 shots. i then outright kill the last one and finish the rest but with disabling im not under constant fire.

Sounds like you are doing it right to me.

Remember this tactic for later on in your piloting career. There are missions where you get swarmed by 10 fighters that constantly re-spawn while protecting an escort in tier 4.

If you leave them to float there with a disabled engine and not destroy them you buy yourself some time and a breather before the next wave.

nothing wrong with that... alot ofpilots disable during difficult missions to slow down the spawn. The bottom line is "Does it work for you?".
