i have a dewback (BE made) that was trained as a mount. she was getting huge and it looked so cool. anyway, today, she turned CL62 (out of 69) and her saddle is gone, and i don't have an option to retrain her. is there a maximum level for mountable pets?

The problem isnt the level of the pet its the size of the pet that is the problem, but since BE pets size by CL now the max level for mountable pets will be different for each skin type and no one has put the time into testing what the max CL for all the different skin types would be.

My CL65 Bol is still mounted and I'm waiting for the CL70 to mature to see if it's still available. However, Bol's and Dewback use basicly the same body type, so why can my Bol get higher?

As Joker said, it depends on theskin/level of the pet. If they get too big they will outgrow the saddle. My Dewback lost his at the same level as yours. Pissed me off too, as it was like riding around on a medium Naboo house.

I made another Dew, level 59, and he is ok. I also have a level 69 Cupa and she still has her saddle.

I haven't seen a comprehensive list stating at what level certain skins will outgrow saddles, sorry. I've thought about doing the testing but I don't have the datapad space to grow them all.

I'll help with the list if I can. I just like making high level mounts.

Also, I just logged in and my Bol is at CL70, mountable, and the size of a small building.

cool thanks for the responses guys... well let's start the list lol... we know:

Bol: up to cl70

Dewback: around cl 60

Cu Pa: confirmed up to 69 (prolly 70?)

we still don't have info on: falumpasets, banthas, carrions, (can't remember the rest i am not on my BE/CH toon in game right now)

I had a CL58 Flampset, larger than a savage humbaba, but still mountable.

There was a pot a while back about a Kaadu that stopped being mountable sometime before CL70. Kaado and Carrion Spats cannot be sadled up to CL70, but not sure when they stop.

I have a full grown CL 70 mounted bantha that works just fine.

(this is post CU. Bought him to check out new BE pet sizes when they were first introduced)

Also, can we keep this Post-CU BE pets? I've seen allot of Pre-CU BE pets that come nowhere near the size of most of the new high levels.

This is a big problem right now for BE's.

The pets that are listed as mountable should be so NO MATTER WHAT SIZE THEY ARE!!!!!!

I just BE'd a DL65 Dewback and now I fear he won't be worth a damn after a point.

To add to the list: I have a DL64 Brackaset that is still mountable

To add to the list, my (non-BE) Giant Carrion Spat stopped at CL 9. It stands twice the height of my character, and my character is on the tall side.

Pre-NGE:
Oneu, Creature Handler(1/4/4/4), Pikeman(3/2/4/3), Master Scout - Chilastra
