Thread: GPS Question

Like most of the board, I'm searching for my own Great Plains Stalker. 
I've notived that all of my own sighting have been during the day. Can anyone confirm that they've seen them at night, or do they only appear during the day.
Any responses or sighting waypoints would be greatly appreciated

I was beginning to think along the same lines myself, until last week.
whilst visiting coronet to get some brandy, i decided to have a look around. By the time i reached the third waypoint it was pitch dark and low and behold 200mtrs to my left a gps spawned. 4 adults to the spawn and no baby,as usual.
So in answer to your question yes they do spawn at night ,but whether it is as often as during the day i have yet to find out.

i really dont think it matters if its night or day, after the server resets there are 2 standard spawns, and then the spawn rate is dictated by how many people are around the riverlands or lord nyax's place, i am convinced there are no more than 2 spawns active at a time though - if there arent many people in the centre of coriella i wouldnt be suprised if there are no spawns active at all - this is my experience of the spawns after searching since january.... this is actually the behavior for most single spawn rares, notice how almost all of them appear around poi's as more people are visiting them for loot, quests etc..

I just ran into my second GPS in what has been a 5 day search thus far. I have not seen a single lair. My question is: Are there lairs, or am I looking for just a random spawn of GPS's and hope that a baby randomly spawns?

yup... it seems that they dont have lairs. well ive never seen anyone say there are lairs for them..

Shaike!! I see you are on Wanderhome. I have been looking for weeks and not seen a single GPS! I have yet to even meet anyone who has until I read this.
Can you possibly Gmail me your WP for the sightings? I will glady share any good fortune I have with you. Ingame name is in sig i think - C-B

Heya there! Welcome to my life for the past week and a half hunny!
My Name is Diya So'J and Im also a Master CH looking for the GPS.
The GPS is a random spawn, their will never be any layers and it will never have any multipal spawns together-so that means there will only be 1 GPS at any random time in any random place-never 2 or more.
These agressive creatures are EXTREAMLY HARD to find, even if you know where to look. In my week I have found 10 of these beautiful cats, hoping for a baby-yet none yet. If you want to find and capture the GPS you need to have lots of time and patience-I swear not more than 3 spawn in a day IF YOUR LUCKY. Im on Lowca server and my toon's name is Diya So'J so just give me a /tell when your online sometime and I can give you some waypoints that are around the central wetlands and plains of corellia that the GPS can be found in. I have had a lot of help from Tivo and Digiwarth-so I thank them for their generosity in sharing their experences.

I'm a Wanderhomian that's tamed a great plains stalker. It was only about a week and a half ago when I tamed it.

Oh, I definitely take breaks. I do have an in-game life as well. There is a thread that I believe Miltek came up with that has a bunch of waypoints that I used. Thanks you by the way, Miltek. I ran into my third last night, but no babies.

You answered your own question. Random spawns and pray for a miracle thata baby spawns.
And I do mean a M I R A C L E. You will need it. It's that rare. That baby GPS is a freaking ghost!
