Thread: innate abilities?
the answer is simple. If the devs were to make jedi as powerful as they should be, the rest of the player population would whine and cry about how unbalanced jedi are.
Oh wait.... they already do that!
Basically the devs can't win. They are stuck in a classic catch-22. make the Jedi too powerful and the players whine, make Jedi too weak and they aren't worth playing.

hey this sounds like it could have real potential for CH
did u c what lvl the IF was?
Well, the icon was showing IF L1, but I think even when you train IFL2, the debuff iconshows L1.

I think its stupid and I hope its a bug personally. If pets will randomely use specials they haven't even learned, then what's the point of specifically teaching it a trigger ability? More specific example, if my pet is going to use Bleed Attack anyway then what's the point in wasting ability slots giving it Bleeding Attack? Just so I can trigger it when I want to?
My thought is that its probably an oversight by the developers. They enabled random specials on wild creatures (which also doesn't make sense, IMO. They should use only what they could have innate if you tamed them, but thats just me), and they neglected to make it so that pets don't have random specials.

So don't teach it bleed and use the slot for another special

I think this is part of the general AI crank-up.
When you go hunting, watch for the critters you are killing to be doing the same to YOU. ![]()
