i use to find it good fun to sit on my bike looking for the rare rancor babies and watch the rancor packs eat the other creatures.

Now they just leave each other alone?

Maybe they all vegies now?

Any way i suppose the chance of wild babies getting killed by other creatures before you can tame them have gone too.

A good site for mmo fans

Thus sets off page after page of responses. Halfof which are honest and true: "You must download the trial and see for yourself." Some are "sky is falling" responses. One or two suspect some trolling and question how the OP is able to post here. And the remainder latch on to one of the questions and debate the topic until flying pigs return carrying the wayward cows.

I remember the days before the dark times when I first played swg, Me and the guildies would put on are bone armor and grab our cdef rifles and go rancor hunting, so many times we just sit back and watch two bulls going at it then we hit the winner

man that seems so long ago no comp armor no buffs and it took a group to put down a rancor

I remember doing something similar way back when but with krayts. I would bleed one and watch them go at it until the weaker one was down to a managable lvl then I would take it out the rest of the way ( novice ch/ half way through rifles no buffs no armor with a mid range t21 and a lvl 15 cowardly lol) and yes I would die at least 5 times but clone chamer was close to spawn

yeah this among many other things saddens me because the SWG world is no longer as alive as it once was. It seems the AI no longer cares about anything but you and if your 80 and they arent the chance of aggro is very small.

Im happy to see MOBs doing skills now, but still wish they do disease or poison like they used to and also wish they were smart like they were. Like you said, aggressive creatures used to attack other creatures as well as you which made the galaxie seem alive. Now if im bored (which happens alot these days) I cant even watch Rancors maul Brackaset lairs anymore haha

But supposedly with ToOW we'll see an advance in AI so we'll see.

On another note... I thot pub24 was going to get rid of pet call timers. They are still there so I'm thinking maybe ToOW will have that as well i dunno. We'll see.

Kimo's on Lok used to constantly fight, they loved tasting eachother. you would see durni's and correlian butterflies go at it too around c-net.

The AI was alot smarter back then too, an npc would stick his toung out and poke fun as he walked up and db'd you. I actually though pub 24 was supposed to be fixing that but i guess i was wrong.

those graul maulers were something else - i would die sometimes and leave them fighting a really high level mob, these were in the days before vehicles and i often had to run 4km's back to the spot where they were and they would still be fighting - i cant remember if they were 65 or 75% light armour kinetic, but they were really tough.
