I am pulling my hair, trying to decide which professions to do on my second character...
I really want MCH, always have since I started playing in August of last year, so I am going that route. However, I am struck with a hard decision. I really don't wanna go melee, nor do I wanna get rifleman or carbineer.
What does everyone here think of MCH/Master Smuggler and some pistoleer for defense? 4/0/0/0, or something along those lines. I have always waned a Smuggler and MCH, this is really the only reason for it, but is it worth it? Any others with this combo?
Input would be great! Also, is there really any easy way to get creature handler xp? Probably not, just thought I'd ask though. =)
Thanks in advance for the advice!

Well, the problem is that CH is no longer a viable combat profession on it's own. If you do not take up another combat profession you will be spending 30 minutes and countless pet stimpacks on a single mission.
For RP reasons, smuggler/CH sounds really cool. Just don't expect to bedominating in any kind of combat.

I really just like the concept. A smuggler of rare pets? Great RP potential, which is really what I want. My main isa MBH/Master Pistoleer, er, well, he will be. I don't wanna do another combat profession. Just fun, thats all. =)
I still think with some pistoleer, I would do fairly decent. Hmm, decisions, decisions...

My friend was a MCH/ Smuggler for a long time and is now giving it up to go BH with me just for fun. Smuggler really isn't enough of a combat profession to deal great damage alongside your pets.I will miss the free slices though lol. I can't say how many times feign death has saved him from dying, and low blow is just an awesome attack.
If you want it for the added things that come with it then great. If you are wanting sick dmg in pve or pvp then I would have to say not a good choice.

Thanks for the reply! I am still debating it. I sorta of want it mostly for RP reasons, but I still need to think about it.
Thanks!

How about Commando and creature handler.I did this combo for a bit and found alot of enjoyment in the two professions...although at the time I was master commando and maybe level 35 creature handler.Smuggler and CH sounds like fun too.

I have tried out Master Pistoleer with 2 lines of smuggler and 2 lines of CH. Can have all the Smuggler specials plus any other line and 4 4 0 0 in CH giving you cl36 and you can easy get a light AR high kinetic pet to take all the flack. Works very well. You get a good pet for tanking and have the highest damaging pistol special "last ditch" also fiegn death and a range knockdown and the wierd and difficult to figure out how to use "panic shot" which works like the old warcry used to work, area effect on the 10sec delay and often works on a knocked down mob like the old days.

I also like creature handler, and am almost master. Im trying to find another good path as well. I like smuggler, forcrafting part (spices) and slicing . I also like commando, so I am pretty torn. Was thinking of master smuggler/master commando, but dont want to drop ch.
