I'm a MBE/MCH that has just recently returned to SWG after 2 yrs away. I've finally managed to make pets that have over 500 max dmg and still be callable/useable. It is possible and can be done consistently. Here are some stats:

500+ dmg useable pets are possible, don't settle for anything less!

Out of curiosity, have you tamed any of them? I'm curious to see how the stats fall into place after they're called and stored a couple times.

In response to your post Ciridian, I went back and tried to call those 500+ pets and sadly, on this 2nd try they were invalid. I was able to tame them so I thought they were fine, but it does indeed look like 499 is the damage cap. I'm sorry for the blunder, I guess I was too excited and too confident since I haven't made an invalid pet in ages.
To make up for my mistake, and apologize to any MCH who read this and got their hopes up, I'll offer a special discount on my pets to you for this weekend. I have a wide variety of CL70, 499 dmg pets that I know are good since I have pets from the same strains that have grown to maturity and are still useable. If you are on Ahazi server, send Manola an email or /tell this weekend and I will sell you CL70, 499 dmgpets for 100K off what is listed on the vendor.

Oh, no worries!
I wasn't even thinking they'd be invalid, I was actually wondering what would happen to the armor level after the tame and summon/store twice. There's a frustrating relationship between CL and armor, where I frequently produce lovely, high armor pets only to see their armor levels cut monstrously (4000 armor level 35's down to 1600 armor, 5000+ armor level 66's cut down to 4600). I was wondering if something would occur on the low end, if these pets' armor would rise once tamed and doublecallstored.
It really is disappointing to hear that they became uncallable. I had hoped bioengineers would be able to tailor pets to various CH tastes and needs, for instance, high damage, lower defense/durability creatures like that for creature handlers who prefer to tank themselves.

dammit... It should be possible to get pet damage over 500 considering thats all they are good for. Everything goes after me and my pets just do damage. No tanking anymore
Oh and did I mention my pets are now retarded and do not follow me half the time and forget they are attacking people.

gotta love self-appointed moderators hehe. in all fairness, joker does alot to answer questions and help in this forum. he prolly been here long time and tired of advertising hehe.
i would be dissapointed if the BE posted his stats on his creations but didnt tell me where i could go buy one. i just wish he was on chilastra server hehe
