Thread: Silent fix?
They seem to be mostly fixed. There is a new problem though. My BE Cu Pa mount has no ranged attack. However, when I command it to attack a lair, it does the range attack thing. You know... shoot, take a step closer, shoot, etc. Except that it doesn't have a ranged attack. So it would take him about a full minute to "run" to the lair and actually attack it.
I sent it against a creature next to the lair, and it ran in just fine. Could you guys with tamed mounts that do not have a ranged attack try this out, and post results?
I want to pinpoint the issue. Is it the fact that wild cu pas have ranged attacks, and this BE one does not? Or is it just all mounts in general?

Might be because the NPC is using a ranged attack but I dont think so.
Also seems to be that the close combat distance (distance away from the MOB that the pet gets to to do damage) has changed. seems further away than normal.
Also had the odd moment where the pet doesnt attack straight away when commanded to.
Guess it was wishful thinking that they wouldn't (yet again) break something in Creature Handler during this publish

Have you noticed that other creatures are using their ranged attacks now?I've beenhunting Perleks on Lok for a couple of days and I never saw them use a spitting attack. After the patch, that's all they do.

Yup, ranged attacks seem to be back in fashion.
I still haven't had a chance to play with mounts...too busy running around planting harvesters, establishing a new household, and getting some alt med grinding done to free Tazz up to continue the hologrind. Tazz has all the cool pets, he's the diehard CH.
