On not knowing Vert asa person, remember that we are all more than just words on a computer screen... there may be real life issues that mean Vert is not as communicative as he has been in the past (and he has been).
I wouldfully expect Vert to say if the pressures of real life / other comittments mean he feel he can't devote as much time to the CH correspondent post as he once was able to.
Until that time - I'll keep my vote of confidence for Vert remaining in the post compared to any other CH in these forums.
There's only one CH I see in these forums (who's now purple named) that I could see as being able to fully fit the correspondent role from a dedicated love of CH should Vert step down.

Part of the reason I like the CH forums more than any other is that people seem to be a lot less hostile, and a lot more calm and well spoken with a coherent thought process usualy leading to a lucid conclusion, without any of the side hostility. This recent turn just has begun to bother me a bit, and I don't quite want to hear all the negativity any more.
The fact that they are possibly not fixed scares me a little bit, but I feel it will be adressed in time and that further testing is needed.
Until time has passed after the CU I will retain my cautious optomism and probably CH. Call me a sentimental fool, but I've let two pets that I've had for more than five mintues go, and I had a hard time doing it. I'd hate to see my NPC companions fall into disuse and be stuck in the prison of my datapd.

I hope you don't mean Tivo, he is gone, but was very respected among the ch.
There are a few others that come to mind.
If Vert ever does decide to leave I see a couple of people running straight for it. (Well One Anyways LOL)
A Cor should be someone who can see both sides of the fence, not besuffering fromdev worship. A Cor should feel comfortable talking to the happy happy folk who thank the devs for everything lol. and the angry I hate everything people.
There are only3 people still here who I would recommend for a Cor position. Ko-airi,and Enigma, another who I won't name cause he probbly wouldn't want it lol. Both of these people I have named have shown a nuetrality of sorts. They hope for the best and are usually a positive influence but can be honest enough in times of trouble to give an honest answer even if its a negative one.
Although there are many people here I respect and have spoken of in the past with extraordinary gifts and abilities. I believe someone who's in a nuetral territory is the only type of individual who will help you all in the months/years to come.
Opinionated people like myself will not be a positive influence in the dealing with the soe/devs. Nor will a swg/dev worshiper and hate clubs.
Just my 2 cents, its off topic but I am getting the feeling that more change is coming and someone is being groomed for a job,. and no its just a feeling I have and won't tell you who I think it is lol. Hopefully I am wrong i this asI was wrong in thinking the polls might have influence on the CU.

there is no credit to this post, and i have been on TC and the specials are NOT fixed. Which is why our correspondent hasnt posted, he is too busy testing rather than posting false information on our forums.

Tivo was certainly very well respected and had my respect too. Don't think for a second that I wish to see Vert out - I don't. I guess any dedicated correspondent can do the best job they can and still be frustrated by things that are simply out of their hands not to mention other pressures that may be upon them in real life.

As an aside I don't think every post needs to turn into a "Burn the Correspondant" post. I understand that things may not look so bright, and we all may feel a bit bitter, but this is no reason to lash out at people.
I feel that in a degree of supposidly intelligent neutral debate we have no need fo such antics.
If you have criticism make it constructive, and maybe bring it up privately. Every individual in this forum deserves respect.
Meuw did you not just mention how forum posts are not to be turned into flame wars? No need to instigate.
If you want to use personal attacks, be baleful. and attempt to be witty become a right wing talk show host...not a CH.
