Thread: The Silver Lining
I am getting very close to master CH. I only have about 5 boxes left. I agree with everyoned that this patch totally sucks. I don't give a **edit** about balance--I loved my 2 gurrecks and my 2 webmasters. That being said:
IT'S TIME TO MOVE ON
There is absolutely nothing we can do to change this. Do not delude yourself into thinking that the developers will succomb to your whining! We have succeeded at discouraging those who would simply dabble in our beloved profession. I actually went all night last night seeing only one Graul--MINE! I pulled two Grand Wrix last night and people were actually impressed. Unfortunately the cost has been great, but our class is now rare and special once more.

Hmmm.... nice imagery i'll give ya that, but i prefer

I completely disagree, they obviously didn't see the some of the great points people are throwing around now after this shoddy patch was released, they did listen to the little whiney tards about us in the first place, so why wouldn't they listen to US the CH themselves? They're reading alright, and they better get to fixing, and fast, or they're gonna be out a paycheck come next month by all the people quitting. I will, however stick this out and hope by next week at the latest they have removed MCH cap or upped it to 140 if not, then i guess my days of mmorpg are over. I quit a good game because of this, quit a good group of friends on a team for that game cause i thought hey this game's gonna own 1337 h4x dood rawk dawg pwned w3rd filly fly up holmes, and instead its turned into a crackhead with a needle stickin outta his arm (yea that was my overpolished attempt at E-ebonics..what WHAT!)
I just wanted to point out that as of this morning you now get a proper message for why you can't call a pet, and many pets that people tamed before can now be called (like my wifes self-tamed Giant Peko Peko baby).
Atleast in my household everyone was much happier this morning than we were when we went to bed last night.
Sorry the silver lining is actually very light grey. A couple of the things made sense, but the cl caps are way to low. Take for instance, the highest level animal I have is a plains hunter. I get nothing for exp when I use him and really only use him to clear out areas so I can actually get to my harvesters. Let me state, that I had 2 of them before (and still do) but I used to be able to call both of them out. I can no longer do that which is something that I am not going to harp on and can live with as 2 of them were really powerfull. But, I also have 2 razor cats that I did use most of the time to gain ch exp and even then they dont give alot but they do provide better protection. With this new system I can only call 1 of them out. sorry but thats not acceptable. having 2/2/2/3 I should be able to call both of them out, else what good is the +1 additional pets at cm 3. I know I can call them out if I get one more in taming or training, but still the point is, I was able to tame them, I did work my way up the ch ladder to be able to call out both pets and I should be able to use them. The entire cl levels to me are way screwed going up the ch tree. And you know, the thing that bothers me worst about this situation, they changed the colors of my pets. several of my pets are now bright reddish orange which makes them look awefull. there was a reason I tamed those BROWN cats and its because they were BROWN!
I wont even get started that I lost my travel pack last night when i logged on and their so called fix didnt do squat. I wont get started on the fact that all my medical equipment that I spent hours making was in that backpack and is not there. I wont harp on the fact that I didnt even realise it was gone until the first fight and went to click on heal as I was about to die and realized all my stim packs and everything was gone.
I also wont start screaming about the fact that monsters are now warping onto us at the start of the fight thus not giving our pets a chance to keep them off us. Also wont start screaming that our pets still warp out on us directly into the datapad and/or cant get them to follow you across the zone lines. Im sorry, but its really sad that I have to spend more time looking at the distance meter of my pets then I do at the actuall world hoping that my pets dont just poof or get stuck on a zone line.
I was wrong, the silver lining is not grey, it is deep black with a single spec of white leaving that one glimer of hope that things will get straightend out.
