had this idea after i purchased a few bioengineered pets today. So when you purchase a bioengineered pet it is in its untamed form and is in your inventory but when you tame it, it becomes a baby and is stored in your datapad. Why not add a simple option to untame pet. It would go to your inventory, forget all tamed commands, heck it can even be back in baby form but at least we would be able to store them. this would fix the out of room storage problem, you would be able to put ur first or favorite pet as a trophy in your house, and not just take up room in your datapad. bah im sure its been proposed before but i dont read the boards much so i thought id toss it out there and see if anyone liked the idea.

It doesn't sound too hard to program, just pretty much reverse what happens with bioengineered pets.

This is a great idea we all have had to deal with losing our first Tamed pet. A lose all Ch's have gone through.

Something like this might be workable if the pet was never able to be tamed again. I can just see the lines of people taming/untaming their pet gnorts for unlimited experience.

You have a very big point there. If it was permanently untameable, then people would think seriously about untaming it. Only problem though is that you cannot use that pet again, so it doesn't really solve the storage problem very well.

Or perhaps if it was like untaming, but when you tamed it again, it would still know the commands, but there will be a delay until it fully remembers. That way, it would solve the potential taming/untaming repeatedly problem and solve the storage problem at once.
