I'm relatively new to the CH profession on Shadowfire. I currently have 1/0/0/1, and if this looks odd, I wanted the Mgmt for the Group command so I can get Squad Leader XP.
In any case I have a question. Once a creature/pet is named, can it's name be changed?

Yes it can. Just retrain 4 of the commands (which you can't do until you are able to train 4 commands)

I guess I should have said retrain 4 of the commands using the new name you want.

Actually seems to me that if your pet knows around 10 commands you have to retrain more than 4 commands to rename it. Apparently it only takes on the new name when more commands include the new name than the old one. If you have a pet with 10 commands, it might take 6 commands before it takes on the new name.

That's true. I'm going by memory here but if I remember right, at1/0/0/1 you only have 4 commands. 3 for novice and 1 for management 1. If it has 10 commands a higher level CH will need to rename it (assuming it's a non-ch level pet or has the transfer command)

Does anyone know if you can change your characters name or surname. Like if you were to get married, or for whatever reason. Is there a way to do this through CS - would they allow that to happen or is it not an option.

To my knowledge - no. From my understanding once you pick your name it is yours and nobody else can have it. And curses to whoever took "Trinity" on Naritus before I began playing 
However, I don't know everything, and I could be wrong on this, being that I'm am only 90% sure. So, maybe another player will respond otherwise, but you can be guaranteed that a dev won't

First names are uinique to you and cannot be changed. Last names are not unique and anyone can have any last name which also cannot be changed. The only way i have heard of a name changing is an offensive name being used and the DEVS changing it.

The only way to change your name is to delete your toon. Also the name you had can then be reused in about 1 week, some times less or more.

wolfus i feel ur pain i wanted Osiris but someone had blagged it so i was forced to have Raa (would of been 1 a but was not allowed :'()
